We were lucky to catch up with Khymberliann Bynes recently and have shared our conversation below.
Khymberliann, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Being “Just a girl” from Harlem, I’ve always been taught to dress like you own the place, think big and dream even bigger. Growing up I felt like people deserved more than just “getting by”. I noticed how disconnected people actually were from peace, nature, luxury, healing and community all at once. Most places force you to choose between comfort and affordability, sustainability or experience – So I created The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co. , a futuristic, solar powered dome that combines smart tiny short term homes, immersive seasonal environments, and community resources all under one ecosystem. I said to myself, imagine being able to experience luxury, nature, innovation and healing all in one place – while still being environmentally conscious and community driven. I wanted to create a space where all of those things could exist together.
That’s how The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co. was born. I envisioned a futuristic, solar powered dome experience where people could experience different environments year-round while still enjoying their stay in one of our beautiful, smart, eco-conscious spaces. I wanted to brand something new, something that has never been done, or seen before. I wanted to lead the world’s conscious into the future – not just visually, but emotionally. Instead of creating just another “vacation spot”, I wanted to create a place where families, entrepreneurs, creatives and even people that are of a low income could coexist and feel inspired.
The world is shifting, people want experiences now. They want wellness. They want futuristic living and they want sustainability when I realized nobody was combining all of those elements into one scalable concept – I did.
What excited me most was not the luxury – it’s about impact. I wanted to prove that innovation and inclusivity can exist together, while solving multiple problems in one vision. The more I researched solar innovation, smart homes, tourism, wellness spaces and immersive experiences, the more I realized the future is moving toward integrated lifestyle ecosystems – and I wanted to build the blueprint for that future.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am Khymberliann Bynes, CEO/Founder/Visionary of The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co. and Philosopher. I was born and raised in Harlem NY. I entered this space after feeling like my life was robotic and completely not in my control. I was a Juvenile Justice Correction Officer, my daughter, Dior was 2 and breast-fed at the time and I was expected to report to duty at 06:45 sharp, on a rotation shift. I began looking into different financial routes that I could take that would make me a millionaire…over night (I was hopeful). I snapped out of it to the cold truth that, I didn’t know anything about credit, taxes, llc’s or loans. After realizing I spent my whole life in school and was still financially illiterate – I paid $10k to learn directly under 5 millionaires who I now sit with today.
My work focuses on blending luxury experiences with purpose-driven innovation. Through The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co., I aim to create immersive environments, smart tiny (short term) homes, wellness-centered spaces, and futuristic attractions that bring people together.
What sets me apart is my ability to think beyond current trends and focus on a long-term impact. I don’t just build structures – I am creating experiences and environments that leave people inspired. I believe the future of luxury is no longer about just appearance; its about how spaces make people feel.
One thing I am most proud of, is turning a vision that was once in my mind into a growing brand and movement. Every step of this journey has required faith without boundary, resilience, creativity, and the willingness to believe in something bigger that I.
I want readers to know that The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co. is rooted in and built on autonomy and ground breaking evolution. May my story help you, in some way, navigate through a difficult task, question or solution. May you believe in yourself even more and be inspired enough to atleast get one thing done that will bring you a closer step into your future. One that is filled with luxury, healing, innovation and creativity – and you just might land at The Bynes Dome Luxe & Co. See You There!!
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Caring About What People Think Will Keep You Average Silence is power. Most people seek validation (which is a trauma response) and most people judge things they secretly don’t have the courage to attempt themselves. If you build your life around avoiding criticism, you will also avoid greatness. Every visionary sounds “crazy” before they sound intelligent. You do not have to constantly prove yourself, explain your intentions, or convince everyone to understand you. The right people will recognize your energy (Inner G) without needing a full presentation. The moment you stop needing approval, your creativity expands.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
The following books along with a change in diet, meditation, yoga and deep rooted shadow work has helped me tremendously;
1. “Outwitting The Devil” by Napoleon Hill. In this book Napoleon Hill is conducting an interview with the “Devil”, forcing the devil to tell how he wins the souls of people through fear, control and invisible forces that keep people trapped in ordinary lives.
2. “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. This book is more than just about money. This is the blueprint for turning desire into reality. It reveals how belief, obsession, and persistence can transform an idea into fortune – if your mind is strong enough to hold the vision.
3.”The Millionaire Mind” by Thomas J Stanley. Now this book quietly dismantles everything people think wealth looks like. behind true financial success isnt luck or luxury – its discipline, thinking differently, and mastering decisions most people overlook.
4. “The Mountain Is You” by Brianna West. This book really sat me down and had me thinking about my entire life. This book is a deeply emotional exploration of self-sabotage, healing and transformation. It reveals how the biggest obstacle between you and your future is pften the version of yourself you haven’t yet released.
