Mossiah, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I grew up in the church there I discovered my love for music. I knew early on that I wanted to pursue a career in the music industry.
Mossiah, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My career has been in club ownership, event promotions and music distribution. My goal was to shed light on our often overlooked music scene here in Columbia SC. I built V12 Studios with the idea of creating a dope, creative space for serious artists. We wanted to bring a level of professionalism and respect to this field in our city. We pride ourselves in staying innovative and cutting edge.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I meet so many people who earn a living doing something they hate, I feel so blessed to be able to do what I love and earn a comfortable living while doing it. I’ve been in business for o er 10 years and have never felt like this was work but more of a dream come true.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
It has always been my dream to assist an artist to the next level and that is becoming a nationally recognized artist. That mission has driven me to continue to be impactful in completing this mission.
