We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Saudine Alexis Luceñara a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Saudine Alexis, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was leaving my previous job without any savings or backup plan to pursue a completely new career path.
At the time, I was working as a Customer Associate, earning a modest income while dealing with daily commutes that were both time-consuming and physically draining. I knew that if I stayed, I would remain in the same cycle—with limited growth and fewer opportunities to support my family.
Despite the uncertainty, I made the decision to transition into becoming a Social Media Manager. I started from zero—no formal experience, no guaranteed clients, and very little knowledge of the industry. What I had was determination, discipline, and a clear purpose.
As the primary provider for my family, with both of my parents already seniors, I knew I had to take a risk if I wanted to create a better and more sustainable future for us. That “why” became my strongest motivation.
The journey wasn’t easy. I had to self-learn, upskill, and push myself to find opportunities while building my confidence along the way. But looking back, it was the best decision I’ve made.
Today, I’m working as a Social Media Manager with multiple clients, enjoying the flexibility of working from home, and most importantly, being able to support my family better.
That experience taught me that sometimes, taking a risk—especially when guided by a strong purpose—can lead to the growth and direction you’ve been searching for all along.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Saudine Alexis, and I’m a Social Media Manager and Digital Content Strategist with over three years of experience helping brands grow their online presence through strategic, consistent, and visually engaging content.
My journey into this industry didn’t start just with formal training, but it started with a decision to change my life. I previously worked as a Customer Associate, but I realized I wanted more flexibility, more growth, and the ability to better support my family. With no prior experience, I took a leap into freelancing and taught myself everything I know today from content creation and branding to analytics and strategy.
What began as a risk quickly became my passion and profession. Over time, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients across industries such as real estate, wellness, aesthetics, food, fitness, and retail, including international brands.
What I Do?
I provide Social Media Management and Content Creation services, including:
Content planning and strategy
Graphic design and branding (Canva-based creatives)
Short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Caption writing and content optimization
Social media scheduling and management
Basic analytics and performance tracking
The Problems I Solve:
Most business owners I work with struggle with:
Not knowing what to post or when to post
Inconsistent content and branding
Low engagement despite good products/services
Lack of time to manage their social media
I help solve these by turning their social media into a clear, consistent, and conversion-driven system so their content doesn’t just exist, it actually works for their business.
What makes my approach different is that I don’t just focus on aesthetics, I focus on strategy, intention, and results. Every piece of content I create is aligned with the brand’s goals, audience, and positioning.
I’m also highly adaptable. Since I’ve worked with different industries and international clients, I’ve learned how to quickly understand a brand’s voice and translate it into content that connects.
Most importantly, I treat every client’s brand as if it were my own, prioritizing consistency, integrity, and long-term growth over quick wins.
I’m most proud of the journey itself, starting from zero, taking a risk without a safety net, and building a career that now allows me to support my family and work with brands around the world.
Professionally, I’m proud of the results I’ve helped generate for clients, whether it’s organic growth, increased engagement, or stronger brand presence—all built through consistent and strategic efforts.
What I Want People to Know?
I want potential clients and collaborators to know that I’m not just here to “post content.”
I’m here to:
Help you build a brand people trust
Turn your social media into a growth tool
Make your content clear, consistent, and impactful
Beyond work, I also believe in growing as a person, not just as a professional. Transitioning into freelancing gave me not only career opportunities but also the chance to build a more balanced and meaningful life. I value time with my family, personal growth, and creating a lifestyle where I can show up fully, both for my clients and for myself.
Because for me, success isn’t just about numbers or results. It’s about sustainability, balance, and purpose, being able to deliver quality work while still having the space to grow personally and stay grounded.
And if there’s one thing I always stand by, it’s this:
Great content isn’t about posting more, it’s about posting with purpose.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, my work is driven by a clear purpose: to help businesses grow with intention while building a life that’s sustainable and meaningful, both professionally and personally.
On the business side, my goal is to help brands stop guessing and start showing up with clarity through content that not only looks good, but connects, builds trust, and converts. I want to turn social media into something that actually works for them, not something they feel overwhelmed by.
On a personal level, my mission goes deeper. As someone who took a risk to change career paths and become a freelancer, I’m driven by the desire to create a better life for my family while continuously growing as an individual. I believe success shouldn’t come at the cost of burnout—it should allow you to thrive in both your work and your personal life.
At the same time, I also want my journey to serve as an inspiration—especially to those who feel stuck, uncertain, or afraid to start over. I know how it feels to take that first step without guarantees, and I hope that by sharing my story and growth, I can show others that it’s possible to restart, rebuild, and create something better for yourself.
Ultimately, my creative journey is about purpose over pressure—doing meaningful work, helping others grow, and building something that lasts.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
One lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that “if you start off wrong, everything that follows will also turn out wrong.”
I used to carry that mindset early in my journey especially when I shifted careers without much experience or a clear roadmap. Every mistake felt like proof that I had already failed or that I had made the wrong decision from the beginning. It made me hesitant, overly critical of myself, and sometimes afraid to take action because I didn’t want to “mess things up even more.”
But as I continued working, learning, and gaining real experience, I realized that this belief wasn’t true at all. What actually mattered wasn’t how I started, it was how I responded, adjusted, and improved along the way.
I learned that progress isn’t linear, and more importantly, that a lot of things are within your control, your effort, your willingness to learn, your consistency, and how you handle setbacks.
That shift in mindset changed everything for me. Instead of being stuck in fear of getting things wrong, I became more open to growth, more resilient, and more focused on solutions rather than mistakes.
Now, I see every “wrong start” not as failure, but as part of the process and something that can always be redirected into something better.
