We were lucky to catch up with Kullen Carter recently and have shared our conversation below.
Kullen, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
A few years ago, I took a risk that still sticks with me. I walked into WinStar World Casino and Resort with over $2,000 in savings—not to play, but to flip it. I had convinced myself I could turn it into something big. People around me were winning, and I believed my moment was next.
At first, I hit small wins, just enough to keep me going. It felt like I had it figured out. But the more I played, the more I chased. Every loss felt like it was just one step away from a big comeback.
By the end of the night, it was all gone.
No big dramatic moment—just an empty balance and a quiet walk out. I went in confident I’d multiply my money. I left realizing how fast belief can turn into overconfidence, and how easy it is to lose control chasing something that isn’t guaranteed. Lesson Learned😤

Kullen, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a Dallas-based content creator known for blending dance, fitness, lifestyle, and motivational content into one authentic brand. Before stepping into content creation, I served in the U.S. Army, which shaped my discipline, resilience, and mindset—qualities that still drive everything I do today.
I got into this space during a difficult time in my life following a divorce. What started as a personal outlet to cope, heal, and rediscover myself turned into a passion and eventually a growing platform. I found that dance and content creation allowed me to express emotions and tell my story without always needing words.
Today, I create content that showcases confidence, individuality, and positive energy. I don’t follow trends—I focus on being real and letting people connect with my genuine personality. My “product” is the energy and perspective I bring: helping people feel comfortable being themselves and showing that it’s okay to stand out without explanation.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and consistency. I’ve built my platform by simply being myself, and that has led to millions of views and a growing audience. I’m most proud of staying true to who I am while turning something that started as healing into something that inspires others.
At the core of my brand, I want people to know this: everything I create comes from a real place—real experiences, real growth, and real energy.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
From my perspective, society supports creatives best when it stops treating creativity like a hobby and starts treating it like real work.
A lot of artists are expected to be consistent, viral, and professional—but without the same stability, funding, or access that other industries get. That gap makes it harder for real talent to grow.
What would actually help is more real support: paying creatives fairly for their work, giving them access to platforms and opportunities without exploitation👀.
On a smaller level, support also matters. Engagement, sharing work, showing up for artists before they “make it” all makes a difference. A lot of growth comes from community, not just algorithms.
For me personally, I think the biggest shift society can make is respecting the process—not just the final viral moment. Creativity takes time, discipline, and consistency, and when that’s recognized, the whole ecosystem becomes stronger.

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?
NFTs are interesting to me, but I don’t see them as just hype or quick money plays. I see them more as a way for creators to own their content, monetize directly, and build digital value from their work without relying fully on traditional platforms.
At the same time, I’m not blindly into it—I understand the space can be volatile and driven by trends. So for me it’s more about the creative ownership side than the speculation.
Using The Zora app https://zora.co/@kc_reloaded_007 fits into that mindset because it’s more creator-focused—it’s about turning content into value in real time, not just collecting random assets and hoping they go up.
