We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Chase Anderson a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Chase thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
Everything started with my own experience as a content creator. I began building my personal brand on social media at the end of 2024. I just told my story and posted what my days looked like as a young professional trying to balance long work hours with staying in shape. Pretty soon after I started landing brand deals, had people reaching out asking for help with their own pages, and even signed a contract to play professional basketball overseas in Russia…
Eventually I realized the same thing that was working for me as an individual could be even more powerful for businesses and entrepreneurs who already have a product and a story worth telling.
That’s really where the idea for RaymondMedia came from. Not only did I want to teach people the in’s and out’s of building a social media presence, I wanted to provide a done-for-you service where businesses and entrepreneurs let us create script, film, edit, and post the content for them while they focused on running their business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
My name is Chase Raymond Anderson. I’m a digital content creator and the founder of RaymondMedia, an Orange County based content agency. (I also play basketball sometimes)
Before starting the agency, I spent four years in financial services while also building my personal brand online. In just 12 months, I grew my pages to over 80,000 followers and 5,000,000 monthly views on average which led to partnerships with Fortune 500 companies, a professional basketball contract in Russia, and a bunch of DM’s from people asking me to help them do the same thing. That last part inspired what we built at RaymondMedia.
We offer full-service social media strategy, content creation, and personal branding for businesses and entrepreneurs who don’t have the time to create content themselves. We handle everything from scripting, filming, editing, and posting across platforms. All we ask is one day a month from our clients for an on-site shoot.
What sets us apart is that I actually built my own following before ever taking on a client so everything we do is rooted in experience, not theory. That’s something I take a lot of pride in.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my audience on social media just by consistently sharing who I am and what I’m about. I focused on the parts of my story that separated me from other creators and leaned into that as much as I can.
As far as advice to those looking to build on socials: Everyone will tell you this, but consistency and authenticity will always be the keys to success. The individuals and brands that are showing up everyday as their authentic selves will always beat out those who don’t. Of course there’s more that goes into creating content that people actually want to watch (hooks, quality, engaging edits, etc.) but being consistent and authentic is a great place to start.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I built my reputation by actually creating content and building a personal brand for myself. I’ve seen first hand what works and what doesn’t. A lot of agencies have talented creatives but not many have actually grown a following for themselves. That’s been the biggest differentiator for RaymondMedia. I always use my personal page as a case study when pitching new clients.
