Alright, Diego thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

Throughout my upbringing, I’ve always had a passion for expression and creation.

Hello everyone, my name is Diego Diaz-Cooper and I’m a 24-year-old inspiring and growing Influencer located in Maryland. Throughout my upbringing, I’ve always had a passion for expression and creation.

A deep passion for expression and creation through different means present to contribute toward building up communities, sharing my personality, and spreading information & advice to put “good” out into the world. I’ve been able to accomplish these aspirations of mine when it comes to being a growing Influencer through notable social media platforms such as: Instagram (@dcoop._ | @dcoop_world), TikTok (@dcoop_world), and my YouTube channel (@Dcoop World). When it comes to my creative journey, the work I’m most proud of is the work involved with collaborating and aiding both non-profit and profitable organization to spread information and garner an audience.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

A pivotal moment of resilience that occurred within my life was when my mother passed away. Someone so significantly close to me and someone I saw/ spoke to every single day, no longer being here physically, was definitely rough and one of the hardest moments of my life thus far. She taught me what true hard work looked like and instilled quality morals and values within me that I carry with me for the rest of my life. Her unfortunate passing served as a reminder to me that the world can be cruel and unforgiving, but life is something to cherish at the end of the day. This specific moment taught me that the world/ life may have its trials and tribulations, but making the most of every single day, living your life the way you find accordingly, is the ultimate task at hand. This moment emphasized to me to make the most of life and to live life without any regrets.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

What aided me in building my audience on social media was me being authentic and passionate. I believe when it comes to my content I create and publish, my intended audience is able to see that and instantly gravitate towards it.

There have been numerous times through my journey of life and as an Influencer that I wanted to give up, I just believe that’s the way humans and initially wired. We as people tend to give up when “the going gets tough” or when we don’t see and get instant gratification. People can be very self-centered. But what keeps me grounded and level-headed through moments of adversity are the self-reminders I live my life by, which are “if it were easy, everyone would do it” and that “I’ve already started what I sought out for myself, so might as well keep going to see how far it takes me.” These self-reminders help get me through moments of adversity, stress, turmoil, and creative blocks in order to continue building towards my aspirations and keep me motivated as “good things take some time.”
