We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Quania Jones. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Quania below.
Quania, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
There was a moment in my life where everything felt like it was shifting at once, personally, emotionally, and professionally. On the outside, I had the foundation of something strong, but internally I knew I was being called to evolve into a completely different level of myself.
The risk wasn’t just in my career, it was in choosing to no longer accept anything that didn’t align with the life I truly wanted. That meant walking away from situations that were familiar but limiting, redefining my standards, and stepping into uncertainty without a clear roadmap.
I remember thinking, “I can either stay comfortable, or I can become who I know I’m meant to be.” And I chose growth.
At the same time, I made a conscious decision to elevate my brand. I stopped approaching my work casually and began treating it like a true media platform, being intentional about every collaboration, every partnership, and every piece of content I put into the world. I wasn’t just creating anymore, I was curating a lifestyle, a perspective, and a standard.
It wasn’t easy. There were moments where the unknown felt heavy. But something powerful happens when you fully choose yourself, you start attracting opportunities, people, and spaces that reflect that decision.
And that’s exactly what happened.
That risk led me to align with higher, level brands, step into more meaningful partnerships, and build a platform that feels both elevated and authentic to who I am today.
Looking back, the biggest outcome wasn’t just professional, it was personal. I gained clarity, confidence, and a deeper sense of self-respect.
If I’ve learned anything, it’s this: the most defining moments in your life will require you to bet on yourself before anyone else does. And when you do, everything begins to shift in your favor.

Quania, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’ve always been rooted in the arts. I come from a performing arts background, having studied theater, dance, and music for most of my life. That foundation shaped not only my creativity, but my discipline, my presence, and my understanding of how to move people through storytelling.
I began modeling early on and had the opportunity to work closely with an established photographer as a muse, an experience that was both formative and transformative. It taught me how to see beyond the lens, to understand composition, emotion, and the subtle power of visual narrative.
From there, my path naturally expanded into film. I didn’t just stay in front of the camera, I moved behind it as well. I’ve worked as an actress, producer, makeup artist, hair stylist, and even stepped into casting when needed. Being in those environments taught me how to adapt, how to lead, and how to contribute at a high level no matter the role. It gave me a 360-degree understanding of production and the level of excellence required to bring a vision to life.
Interestingly, my journey into what we now call “influencing” began long before it had a name. During the MySpace era, I started sharing behind-the-scenes moments from film sets, music videos, and live productions, inviting people into spaces they wouldn’t normally have access to. What began organically quickly gained traction. People were drawn not just to the content, but to the perspective. I realized early on that I wasn’t just documenting experiences, I was curating access.
Over time, that evolved into what I do today: building a platform rooted in luxury, culture, and storytelling. I approach my work as a media brand, not just a creator, partnering with global and heritage brands to create content that feels elevated, intentional, and immersive.
At one point, I also stepped into a leadership role within a youth-focused nonprofit connected to high level sports and community initiatives. That experience deepened my understanding of influence beyond visibility. It taught me how to build with purpose, scale impact, and move with intention, skills that continue to shape how I operate in every space I enter.
What sets me apart is my ability to merge worlds that don’t always intersect, luxury and real life, motherhood and ambition, artistry and strategy. I don’t just create content; I create experiences and narratives that resonate, that feel aspirational yet grounded.
I’m most proud of the way I’ve built my brand with intention. Every step has been curated, every partnership aligned, every evolution purposeful. I’ve learned that true luxury isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about standards, self respect, and the courage to continuously elevate.
For anyone discovering my work, I want them to know this: I am not just building a platform, I’m building a legacy rooted in storytelling, influence, and impact.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
My journey into building an audience started long before the term “influencer” existed. During the MySpace era, I found myself in unique creative environments, on film sets, behind the scenes of music videos, inside live productions, and I began sharing those moments organically.
What I didn’t realize at the time was that I wasn’t just posting, I was offering access.
People weren’t just following me because of who I was, but because of what I allowed them to experience through my lens. It created a sense of curiosity, intimacy, and aspiration all at once. That was my first understanding of influence.
As social media evolved, so did I. I became more intentional. I understood that building an audience wasn’t about volume, it was about perspective. I refined my voice, elevated my visual standards, and aligned myself with environments and brands that reflected the level I wanted to operate on.
I stopped thinking like a creator and started thinking like a platform.
That shift changed everything. My audience didn’t just grow, they became aligned. I began attracting people who valued luxury, culture, storytelling, and intention, which naturally opened the door to partnerships with brands that shared that same vision.
If I could offer advice to someone just starting, it would be this: don’t chase attention, curate experience. Anyone can post, but not everyone can make people feel like they’re part of something elevated.
Build with intention, protect your standards, and understand that your audience is a reflection of what you consistently show them.
Over time, that consistency becomes identity and identity becomes influence.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Resilience, for me, wasn’t something I consciously chose, it was something life quietly required of me.
There was a season where everything I thought was stable began to shift at once. Personally, I was navigating heartbreak, disappointment, and the kind of realization that forces you to see things clearly, even when you don’t want to. At the same time, I had just stepped into motherhood, a role that redefined me overnight in the most beautiful, yet demanding way.
I remember moments where I felt stretched between who I had been and who I needed to become. There was no roadmap, no perfect timing, just a deep knowing that I had to rise, not just for myself, but for my daughter.
And that changes you.
I had to rebuild my life with intention. Emotionally, mentally, and even professionally. I became more protective of my energy, more selective with my time, and more aligned with what I truly deserved. I stopped tolerating what didn’t feel right, even when it was familiar.
At the same time, I poured into my work in a different way. Not from a place of proving, but from a place of purpose. I began to create with more clarity, more depth, and more intention, understanding that everything I was building was not just for the present moment, but for a legacy my daughter would one day witness.
Resilience, I’ve learned, isn’t loud. It’s not always visible. Sometimes it looks like showing up when you’re still healing. Sometimes it looks like choosing peace over chaos. And sometimes it’s simply deciding, quietly but firmly, that you deserve more, and moving accordingly.
Today, I don’t just see that season as something I survived. I see it as the moment I truly stepped into my power.
