We recently connected with Gabe Lustman and have shared our conversation below.
Gabe, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
I really just started posting my music on Instagram and even back to MySpace and other social media every day and adding people to promo myself. From there I got out there a lot and brands and other opportunities presented them selves.
It wasn’t like that always it took consistency focus and dedication. Every day even when I wanted to quit. You gotta keep foot on that pedal!
If I knew then what I know now I would’ve been a lot further for sure but I think god gives you what he know you can handle!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I started singing before o could speak and professionally in a studio straight out of high school.
I’m a songwriter. Artist. Influencer. Foodie. I do a bit of everything a serial entrepreneur if you will. I’m proud of my many business ventures: lust studios atl recording studio, boost networkz my marketing agency, cash car rental business and what’s the move foodie movement!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
Most rewarding aspect is understanding that my gifts and talents aren’t just for me they’re for everyone else. I’m the tool the conductor of you will of the vibes. Seeing someone smile in the audience at one of my shows or getting a dm saying how I helped them get through a tough time in their life through my content or music is mad gratifying. Makes me feel like I’m on the right path.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
Everyone is not your friend. Do as much as yo I can on your own until you can afford to get hired help. It won’t happen overnight no matter what and what comes easy won’t last and what last won’t come easy!
