We recently connected with Antoine Cantarel and have shared our conversation below.
Antoine, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?
This is our 15th year in business, and Antoine is taking the time this year to get out of the office and go visit the customers who have bought the thousands of ovens we’ve sold over the years.
He’s making a point to go visit the customers that are interested in being featured in this way, by going to their restaurant or food truck, spending the afternoon chatting with them about their business, their growth, success and struggles, and how their Bread Stone Ovens Company brick oven played a part in their story.
Each visit is being documented and recorded, before being turned into a featured video on our social media. Our goal is to highlight the customer, while also keeping in mind that we have been a part of their story, and they’ve been a part of ours.
Our business grows in tandem as the businesses of our customers grow – the more successful they are and the more they are able to grow and expand, the more ovens we sell to their second, third or even fourth locations.
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Our reputation is one of the most important things to us and we’ve worked for fifteen years to earn it. We stand by having one of the longest warranties in the brick oven industry because our product is well crafted and made with superior products – and we’re willing to stand by that.
Customer service is a huge component of what we do and we want to make sure that we’re able to support our customers on every step of their journey. We don’t stop being a part of your team once your oven is delivered.
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
One of the biggest sources of new customers for us is word of mouth. Our happy customers refer their friends, or even return for a second purchase themselves.
We have had several instances of commercial clients growing and expanding to the point of needing additional ovens or trailers, as well as a handful of residential customers who may have moved from the home where they purchased their first oven and then decided to get one for their new home.
