Said The People Band, appreciate you joining us today. Can you walk us through some of the key steps that allowed you move beyond an idea and actually launch?
We are all from Denton and spent time hanging out and playing guitar for Reagan & Allison and eventually decided to build a band. We have been writing music ever since and have the most fun doing so.
Said The People Band, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Said The People in essence as a band is meant to be very inclusive and we write music that appeals to a vast audience. The band formed from a few acoustic ideas and blossomed into a full blown band that we all cherish. Performing 2020, we took advantage of the pandemic and spent a lot of extra time working on our music, image, and expertise.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding thing for us is to spend time with friends and exercise creativity in a way that will be enjoyed by many people. Being able to be on stage and do what we love to do is incredible. Live music is such a special experience because it is generally enjoyed by the artists, as well as the listeners.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The pursuit of living our dream and paying our bills with music. Doing what we love to do is very motivating.
