Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jailyn Sadé. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jailyn, appreciate you joining us today. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Becoming a nail technician felt natural for me. I’ve always been someone who loved getting my nails done, and since I’m a visual learner, watching the process made me feel like it was something I could learn to do myself. I would often tell my family and friends that I wanted to start doing nails. At first there was some doubt and questioning from others, but one day I decided to fully commit. I ordered all the supplies I needed from Amazon and started practicing. I practiced consistently for about six months to a year, and since then I’ve been building my skills and clientele and have been on a roll ever since.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Jailyn Sam, and I’m a 25-year old nail technician with about two and a half years of experience. Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with others in the beauty industry and have been featured in two magazines. My brand is centered around creativity, detail, and making every client feel confident when they leave my chair. I love creating unique nail sets, experimenting with different designs, and turning my clients’ ideas into reality.
Building my brand has allowed me to express my creativity while also connecting with people who appreciate detailed, high-quality nail art. I take pride in my work and the experience I provide, and seeing my clients happy with their nails is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. My brand is something I truly love and value, and it’s a craft I wouldn’t trade for anything.”

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been marketing through TikTok and Instagram. I consistently record every nail set I create and turn it into different types of content to showcase my work. This helps attract new clients who discover my page online. I also gain many clients through word of mouth from current and previous clients—people often love the work they see on my clients and ask where they got their nails done.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I mainly stay connected with my clients through social media and direct text messages. I always check in after their appointment to see how their nail set is holding up and whether any charms or designs have come off. This helps me show that I care about the quality of my work and their satisfaction, which builds trust and keeps them coming back.
