We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful JAMMA. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with JAMMA below.
Alright, JAMMA thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I think the latest song I’m working on is by far my most meaningful one. It’s inspired by the first (and last) time I ever really felt like talking to God. What happened immediately after is the core of this song. I am not a religious person, so that event was significant for me.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am an Italian LA-based singer-songwriter. Ironically I say I like making music that sounds like disappointing your parents, because of my history of struggling to find the courage to own my art. I now try to fuse the Blues and Neapolitan Rock, with a hint of Goth and Folk. My first two singles are already out, they’re called “Farewell” and “American ways”. A third is on the way.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Consume art, real art made by real people. You wouldn’t be doing a favor to the artist, they do it because they can’t do otherwise. You would be doing a favor to yourself: you need art to understand yourself and the world around you.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I fell like music is my God, and I’m a disciple that needs to spread the Gospel. I need to show people what you can feel unravel within yourself through music and stories. I think that’s my goal: to share the transformational power of music with as many people as possible.
