We were lucky to catch up with Michele Monroe recently and have shared our conversation below.
Michele, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned in school and why that lesson is important to you?
I have two business degrees and although they aren’t directly related to content creation, I think school helped me prepare. In college you have to be organized and really on top of your work and that’s the same with a content schedule. Once you start creating content on a full time basis or on multiple platforms, I find that a planner is super helpful! It makes me feel like I’m back in school!

Michele, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I create content that shows the unfiltered, real side of Las Vegas and experiences most people don’t see. I love exploring unique places and sharing them in a way that’s authentic and relatable, and connecting with people who are curious about the world around them. I have transitioned from vlogs to interviews this past year because I love learning about people and sharing stories!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
To build an audience you just have to be yourself. I think it’s important to make content you enjoy and your people will find you!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
My content has helped build my reputation. A few years ago, I was the first creator who was given permission to record inside a gentleman‘s club and I was also one of the first to record at other adult establishments in the nearby area. I was told by several business owners that once they worked with me and saw the content I created, I had their full trust going forward. A company doesn’t know the angle a creator is going to take when they make content at their business, but I take opportunities and access very seriously. Some people in the industry make content for the shock value, but I have long term goals in mind. I want to share stories, show my audience things they don’t see on a daily basis and overall make positive, honest content!
