We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Amanda Paez. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Amanda below.
Hi Amanda, thanks for joining us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
One of the most meaningful ways I show appreciation to my families is by celebrating the small but powerful milestones their child reach. In my work, I often have students for years, so their progress becomes something we all share together.
I had a student who struggled tremendously with reading when we first started working together. He lacked confidence and often felt discouraged when words didn’t come easily to him. Over time, through patience, structured literacy instruction, and a lot of encouragement, he began to grow not only academically but emotionally.
When he finally read an entire book independently for the first time, I wanted that moment to feel special. I surprised him with a small celebration at the end of his lesson. I also shared this all with his parents explaining how proud I was of his persistence and growth.
The look on his face said everything. He wasn’t just proud of finishing a book—he felt seen, valued, and capable. His parents were emotional as well because they had watched him struggle for so long.
Moments like that remind families that their child is more than a student to me. They are part of a journey we’re taking together. Showing appreciation isn’t always about grand gestures; sometimes it’s about recognizing the hard work, resilience, and progress that deserves to be celebrated.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Amanda Paez, and I’m the founder of Teach Inspire Transform, an educational program focused on helping children build strong literacy skills, mathematics, enrichment support, confidence, and a love for learning. I work closely with students from kindergarten through fifth grade and their families through personalized tutoring and small learning environments where each child receives the attention and support they need to thrive.
I was drawn to this work after years in the classroom and tutoring afterwards. Seeing how many bright and capable children struggle in traditional classroom settings—not because they lack ability, but because they need instruction that is more individualized, explicit, and engaging. Watching students transform from feeling frustrated or discouraged to confident and excited about learning is what inspired me.
My work focuses heavily on foundational literacy, including phonics, phonological awareness, speech guidance, spelling, reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and language skills. Every lesson is designed to meet the student where they are and help them grow at their own pace. I incorporate interactive activities, conversation-based learning, and structured literacy techniques to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
What truly sets my work apart is the relationships I build with my students and their families. Many of the children I work with stay with me for years, which allows me to deeply understand their learning styles, strengths, and challenges.
What I’m most proud of is witnessing the transformation that happens when a child begins to believe in themselves. At the heart of my work is the belief that every child deserves to feel capable, supported, and inspired in their learning journey.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
One of the most important ways I foster strong relationships with my families is through consistency, communication, and patience. I believe in the principle of “say what you mean and mean what you do.” Families trust me with their children’s growth and development, so it’s important that they always know they can rely on my honesty and follow-through.
I stay in close contact with parents by regularly sharing updates about their child’s progress, challenges, and achievements. These conversations help parents feel connected to the learning process and allow us to work together to support the child’s growth.
Over time, these relationships naturally build loyalty because families see that I am genuinely invested in their child’s success. Many of the students I work with stay with me for years, and that long-term connection allows me to truly understand each child’s learning style while building meaningful relationships with their families.
At the end of the day, brand loyalty isn’t something I try to manufacture. It grows from trust, consistency, and showing up for families in the same supportive way every single day.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the biggest lessons in resilience I’ve learned through my work is that growth rarely happens overnight. Many of the students I work with initially come to me feeling discouraged or lacking confidence in their abilities, especially when it comes to reading. Progress can take time, patience, and consistency, but those small breakthroughs eventually lead to meaningful transformation.
Resilience is not just about pushing forward in difficult moments, but about believing in the potential of the process even when results take time. Watching my students grow in both skill and confidence continues to motivate me to keep expanding and strengthening the work I do through Teach Inspire Transform.
