DJ REGGIE , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
DJ Reggie Banard one of USA’’s premier DJ’s spinning the newest and hottest music in multiple genres. DJ Reggie Banard Began As A DJ in 2009 learning the how to be a DMC competition DJ. Not only did he learn how to tear it up scratching, he also learned the essentials and recently has become a tutor for beginner DJs. In 2013 DJ REGGIE BANARD claimed the MONSTER DMC Championship proving his dominance in not only Houston but other cities. Also Being Named 2017 Peoples Choice DJ OF THE YEAR, 2020 URBAN DJ OF THE YEAR as well as being nominated for 2025 MIXMASTER DJ OF THE YEAR. Along side being on many of tours and working with greats such as Nipsey Hussle and many others, Reggie B became a household name as a celebrity DJ working with Artist such as Kevin Hart, Fabolous, Floyd Mayweather, Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Drake, Yung Bleu, Bankroll Freddie, Travis Scott, Meg Thee Stallion, YFN Lucci, Don Toliver, BUN B & Many More! Aside From Traveling Country to Country DJ Reggie Banard has made a name in Houston Djing at the biggest Clubs such as SPACE, SEKAI , The ADDRESS & Many Other Venues. Also Venturing Out to cities like LA , Miami, New York, New Orleans & Overseas Like Europe, South America & More!
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Honestly waking up everyday and getting to do what I love. The cheers from the crowds, the fan love, the way I can make and change the mood of the building gives me chills everytime.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Biggest lesson was to not overthink yourself. Trust your judgement. One of the first concerts I ever did I messed up so bad because I was overthinking it in my head and over analyzing the situation. I was born with this gift I just gotta let it flow and come naturally.
