We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Diana Quetti. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Diana below.
Hi Diana, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I think I must’ve been four years old or so when I “got bit by the bug.” I was in ballet class at a local dance studio, and we had our end of year recital. I don’t remember too much about it being so young, but I do remember that I fell in love with the energy of being on stage and an audience to share it with me. From then on, I was hooked.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi! I’m Diana, I got into the theater arts industry a long time ago and it is the thing I love the most. I am also a full-time marketer and very much enjoy that career path as well. I grew up doing local and community theater alongside being a part of the theater programs at my elementary, middle and high schools. I then went onto minor in theater arts at my undergraduate, and fell in love with the program so much that I decided to pursue it further. I then went onto attend a two-year theater arts conservatory in New York City after college, and have been there mostly ever since, pursuing my dreams of being a full-time artist within theater and film. I am also a singer and songwriter, as well as a writer of plays, film scripts, poetry, and songs for others. I am passionate about helping small businesses market themselves to gain a larger audience as well.
I have been very lucky to be able to tell important stories through art, whether it be theater and film or beyond, and I always hope to reach audiences in an impactful and helpful way by doing so. I’m passionate about bringing new work to life in whatever medium that might be.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative or artist is that possibilities are limitless, and you truly have the opportunity in a very unique way to help people. I always knew that the connection I had on stage or the impact a film or poem or lyric could have on someone to help them or feel understood was an aspect of the arts that I always look forward to and always seek out. I think everyone can relate to some aspect of art and in a time where they may need a voice to support them or a message to help them understand something more clearly, it’s a gift to be able to hold that responsibility, and hopefully do it authentically.

How did you build your audience on social media?
To be completely transparent, it’s an ongoing journey! I am still trying to build my social media audience. Being in marketing and media outside of my work in the arts, I have learned a lot about technique, structure, and content surrounding social media presence. The thing I always try to tell myself is to remain authentic and make sure that anything that I am putting out into the social media realm speaks truthfully to me as an artist. I think to anyone starting out, always stay true to yourself, but don’t be afraid to ask for help. There are so many people who are knowledgeable in social media in whatever avenue or industry they work in. People are willing to help so don’t be afraid to ask for it!
