We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Jeramy Purley a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Jeramy, appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
Throughout my life, I have consistently taken calculated risks. I rely on my own judgment, as when proposing positive initiatives, the initial response from others is often negative. Once someone responds negatively to me or my ideas, I refrain from further discussion and avoid sharing my plans with that individual in the future. I am committed to fostering a positive environment and empowering others, rather than criticizing them. This approach has been instrumental in my personal and professional growth, enabling me to achieve my current level of success.

Jeramy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am extremely proud of myself for maintaining unwavering faith in my abilities and God, as well as persistently striving to achieve new milestones. My cleaning service is currently thriving. Initially, progress was slow, and I submitted 10 contract proposals to various apartment and condominium establishments without receiving any callbacks. However, I have now successfully completed 23 house cleaning jobs, all of which were for three and four-bedroom homes. I no longer need to pursue business opportunities, as my work ethic and photographs of completed jobs have earned me a reputation that prompts clients to contact me first for upcoming jobs. Purley Cleaning Services has earned every blessing that has come my way, and I am grateful to have persevered without faltering. God has been my guiding force, Amen.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Growing clientele for me, I document and photograph all of the work that I do. As far as social media is concerned, the quality of your work alone can attract clients. I regularly post images of my completed jobs from my Cleaning Service online, yet I still haven’t received bookings from online sources. And I’m fine with that, because I’m fully booked, busy, and well-compensated. So, I don’t focus on that or expect referrals from acquaintances. However, one thing is certain – they see that I’m consistent and deliver exceptional results.

We’d really appreciate if you could talk to us about how you figured out the manufacturing process.
As the designer, creator, manufacturer, and distributor of custom-made apparel, including T-Shirts, Jumpsuits, Sweatshirts, and Beanies, I prioritize showcasing my brand daily across all my businesses. It is essential to me to promote my own brand rather than enriching other established brands. I take great pride in my creations and am passionate about fashion 24/7 365. I thoroughly enjoy coordinating colors and matching shoes with clothing.
