We were lucky to catch up with Jordan Inthachack recently and have shared our conversation below.
Jordan, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
The biggest risk I took was letting go of who I thought I was supposed to be and redefining my dream.
Growing up, I was wanted to become a music artist or producer. Music means everything to me. But as I got older, I realized those lanes weren’t for me (and I definitely learned that the hard way, haha). Then I found photography.
I realized I didn’t have to leave music I could experience it from a different angle. Through a camera lens, I found my place in the industry for the most part. Still, choosing that path was a risk. It meant sleepless nights editing, endless emails and Instagram DMs, constant learning, and showing up to events just to network and build relationships.
Eventually, I started covering concerts in Orlando, where I built real connections and gained hands on experience. In 2019, a friend called me less than 48 hours before a major music video shoot in Miami for Yungeen Ace, who was on tour with Polo G. I didn’t have a plan for it at all, but I said yes. A close friend told me, “We’ll figure it out,” and we did. That experience opened new doors. A few weeks later, I shot content at the Orlando tour stop for Yungeen Ace that also featured artists like Lil Poppa, Toosii, and Luh Kel. After that show, Lil Poppa’s team reached out to use one of my photos for the cover of his project, Almost Normal. That was my first major opportunity in the music industry.
That moment made every risk worth it. I didn’t become the artist, but I found my own way to tell the story and that decision changed everything.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m a music photographer and creative based in Deltona, Florida, specializing in photography, videography, and a little bit of graphic designing within the music industry and more. My journey started with a deep love for music and just wanting to capture the world from my perspective. When I picked up a camera and started taking photos, everything clicked. I fell in love with documenting the things I saw and the energy of live performances and the emotion behind the scenes. I built my foundation shooting concerts and gradually earned opportunities to work around artists, athletes, and other creatives. One of my proudest milestones was doing a radio interview with IHeartMedia’s 104.5 station and having a feature written about me in the Sanford Herald Newspaper. These are some key moments that validated years of hard work and dedication to my craft.
What sets me apart is that I genuinely care about the people and projects I work with. I understand the passion, the hard work, and the vision behind every creative endeavor, whether it’s a live show, a brand, or a special event. I approach every shoot with that same level of care, and my goal is always more than just getting the shot it’s helping bring someone’s ideas to life and capturing moments they’ll remember. I feel like that is what it’s all about. Capturing real moments and helping people bring their ideas to life. Whether it’s a live show, a brand project, or a special event, I want the work to feel authentic, cinematic, and something people can look back on and really remember.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
The ultimate goal driving my creative journey is to inspire people to believe in themselves and take a chance on their dreams. I know firsthand how scary it can be to dive headfirst into something where you can’t even see the finish line. But that’s exactly why it’s worth it! The growth, the lessons, the experiences, and the memories you create along the way are priceless. Whether it works out the way you imagined or not, there’s so much value in having the courage to try. That bravery to step into the unknown, is something you’ll carry with you forever. Every small win, every setback, every moment of pushing yourself further than you thought possible becomes part of your story. We only get this one life, so take the leap. Follow what drives you, learn as you go, and enjoy every step. Even the struggles become part of your story and your courage can inspire someone else too.

How did you build your audience on social media?
My advice for anyone building a social media audience? Don’t stress about likes, views, or followers. Just post what you love, have fun creating, and share it. If you’re happy with it, that’s what really matters.
For me, growth came naturally by focusing on genuine connections. I stayed consistent, engaged with people, built real relationships, and supported others in the community. Over time, the followers, likes, and views came but the most important part was enjoying the process and creating work I believed in.
