We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful FADED. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with FADED below.
FADED, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
I think anytime you chase a dream its a risk, but a truly fulfilling risk. To follow your heart and love for the art of music, you will never know the full outcome. We have an intense drive and extremely hard work ethic..We wont stop till we see you at the top. So is it a risk? , yes,but there is no “Back up Plan” , or “Plan B”. This is our goal, and we only hope the world starts to get to know FADED one song at a time.

FADED, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We are an all original Indie Rock/Blues band out of Detroit. Our name FADED came from our love of all genres of music, we love to FADE in and out of all rock / blues styles. You will hear that with our 12 song Album. Each song has its own uniqueness.
Garrett Pierce, our lead singer / bass/rhythm guitar player designed our logo, the scorpion with FADED written in its body.
Garrett Pierce and Gavin Pierce
( Faded’s lead guitarist) are twins , both of which are a Scorpio zodiac sign, so that’s where the original idea came from in 2022
They met Hunter Peterson ( Faded’s Drummer) in 2024.. and right from the start it was an instant bond. The chemistry they had in the band room musically was magic ! They have been rocking it out ever since, with such extremely hard work , dedication and determination. The trio has such a vision, and they strive each and every day to obtain it.
It takes a ton of focus and discipline on our part. Also with the strength , loyalty and focus our band manager Lori Pierce helps give FADED the push and extra drive that we need to succeed.
We set many goals, our hard work has helped us to achieve. One of our Goals was to play a show at the world Famous Machine Shop in Flint ,MI. So far we have been honored to take the stage three different times there, between 2025/2026.
We have been able to open for National Touring Acts such as Buckcherry, Jackyl, Anthony Gomes, Close Enemies, JUMP, and many more. Those have been some incredible accomplishments for us.
We are excited to see what 2026 has in store for us.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
To see our art of being a musician unfold , and have a chance for the world to see an hear it. Its so rewarding knowing our lyrics or music have touched someone’s mind and heart means the world to us.
Its so rewarding to see our audience singing our lyrics back to us, there’s no greater feeling then that.
We are beyond happy that our creative work has touched people in some way and stayed with them. Thats what its all about in the end of the day. We are grateful for every moment.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
The best way to help support artists locally, is to get out to their shows if u can, or spread the digital flyer and information to help bring awareness to the show in case other people in your area may want to attend. Also help support the venues thats bringing the local artist an national acts to your area, Try to help those venues to stay in business.
Download and stream an Artisit music , most is free to listen. Like, share or follow when u have interest to do so.It makes incredible difference in our world trying to get heard.
