We were lucky to catch up with S. Noelle Bellamy recently and have shared our conversation below.
S. Noelle, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project I have ever worked on was one that had nothing to do with fashion trends and everything to do with healing.
As a wardrobe stylist, I love creating looks that make people feel bold, beautiful, and seen. I love taking them out of their comfort zone and helping them build confidence from the inside out. But during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to create something deeper. Something that honored strength.
That is how The Luxe Survivors Experience was born.
I brought together an incredible team called The Collective Edge of SC. We collaborated with a talented makeup artist, photographer, hairstylist, and creative designer and florist. I served as the lead director and wardrobe stylist. Together we designed an experience that would celebrate a survivor not just for what they endured, but for who they are.
Hot 1039.9 FM in Columbia South Carolina partnered with us as a sponsor and hosted the experience as a contest. Survivors or their loved ones submitted heartfelt stories in less than 300 words explaining why they deserved a makeover. Reading those stories changed me.
Our winner was treated like royalty. After the photoshoot, a luxury transportation company provided a beautiful sprinter to escort us to a celebratory dinner. Our florist curated stunning arrangements that filled the space with life and intention.
Watching our winner smile, relax, and feel beautiful again reminded me why I do what I do. Fashion can transform appearance. But celebration transforms spirit.
This project was meaningful because it was not about styling clothes. It was about restoring confidence, creating memories, and honoring resilience in its most powerful form

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For those who may not know me, my name is Shantae Noelle Bellamy, widely known as NoelleBStyles. I am a proud Brooklyn New York native, a graduate of Claflin University where I majored in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism, and most importantly, a devoted mother to Sir Langston and Parker Skye.
Dance was my first love. I once dreamed of becoming a ballet dancer and performing with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company. However, right before leaving for college, I was introduced to the modeling industry, and that exposure shifted my path. I realized I could channel my passion for movement, storytelling, and expression into fashion. I began as a runway model but quickly evolved into a designer, wardrobe stylist, creative director, and event choreographer.
I am the Co Founder of Enveux Modeling Company alongside Dr Maurice Williams Jr, where we built not just a modeling troupe, but a safe space and a legacy for aspiring models. I have hosted major modeling shows across the East Coast and styled my first celebrity client, Blu from Bad Girls Club, which opened doors to even greater opportunities.
My accolades include Creative Stylist of the Year by Sheen Magazine in 2019, recognition as one of the Top 25 Most Stylish People of Columbia in 2014, 2015, and 2017, and features twice at Charlotte Fashion Week as a Recyclable and Emerging Designer. I served as lead wardrobe stylist for Nairobi Haircare and headlined the Bronner Brothers Hair Show, captivating audiences with live on stage wardrobe styling by designing garments in real time from fabric. I am also the Executive Director of Epitome of Elegance Event Planning.
As the creator of Draped by Noelle B and owner of Licone Swimwear, I specialize in wearable art and transformative styling. My services include wardrobe styling, image consulting, creative direction, runway show production, and publishing inspirational books and journals centered around confidence, self care, and empowerment. I work with entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives, survivors, and everyday men and women who are ready to show up boldly in their lives.
What sets me apart is my self taught artistry and my ability to merge fashion with purpose. When clients work with me, they are not just styled. They are elevated, empowered, and seen.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creative is the example it allows me to set, especially as a single mom.
Becoming a mother changed everything for me. Doing it as a single mom strengthened me in ways I never imagined. My children get to see firsthand that you can truly become whatever you put your mind to, no matter the circumstances. They watch me dream, build, create, fall, get back up, and keep going. That example means more to me than any award or recognition.
I want them to understand that success is built on faith, discipline, courage, and consistency. Being a creative has taught me to trust the process even when the vision is not fully clear. It has taught me to be comfortable standing alone, to embrace originality, and to move with confidence even when the path feels uncertain.
As a single mother, there is no room for giving up. I want my children to see resilience in action. I want them to know that setbacks are not failures. They are lessons. You take accountability. You grow. You keep pushing. You put God first in everything and trust that what is meant for you will not miss you.
It is also important to me that they see kindness and integrity. Talent may open doors, but character keeps them open. I strive to love what I do, treat people with respect, and lead with excellence.
The most rewarding part of being a creative is knowing that my art is building more than a brand. When I was selected to be the wardrobe stylist for a Tubi Movie called ” Secrets in Plain Sights II and styled my irst on stage play. I knew then for sure my hard work that I’ve done, it is building legacy. I am showing my children that with faith, hard work, and belief in yourself, you can rise, even when you are doing it on your own.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media did not happen overnight. It happened through intention, consistency, and faith.
When I first started, I understood that social media was more than a place to post pictures. It was a platform to tell a story. I used it as a digital portfolio, a behind the scenes pass, and a space to show my creative process in real time. Whether I was styling, directing, designing wearable art, or producing a show, I shared the journey, not just the finished product.
Consistency was key. Even when engagement was low, I kept posting. Even when growth felt slow, I stayed committed. I learned to utilize every resource available to me, from collaborations to live videos to storytelling captions. I asked for help when I needed it and aligned myself with other creatives who had good intentions and strong work ethic.
One of the biggest lessons I learned was to pay attention to my audience. What were they responding to. What inspired them. What problems were they trying to solve. I created content that educated, empowered, and showcased what made me different. I focused on separating myself from others by leaning fully into my originality. I did not try to copy trends. I aimed to create moments.
Research is also essential. No matter how talented you are, there is always something new to learn. Stay ahead of the curve. Study your craft. Study the market. Study branding. Growth requires evolution.
Most importantly, believe in your voice. In the words of my Apostle J Daniels, I Create My Now. Do not wait for permission. Do not wait for the perfect moment. Start where you are. Be authentic. Be consistent. Collaborate wisely. Lead with value. And trust that the right audience will find you when you show up boldly and intentionally.
