We recently connected with Bethanie Lamb and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Bethanie , thanks for joining us today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?
I recognized that the beauty guest needed more than a standard salon service; she needed confidence and self-care during an emotionally significant time.
She was preparing for bittersweet memories with her child, likely worried about numerous practical and emotional details.
A Make-A-Wish trip represents a child facing serious health challenges, making it an intensely vulnerable and precious experience for the entire family. By offering my expertise and time , I believe we transformed a routine appointment into an act of compassion.
It was my hope that my gift gave her one less concern and boosted her confidence during a time when she needed to feel her best.
More importantly, my desire was to make her feel *seen*—not just as a client, but as a person with needs extending beyond the salon chair.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
In the world of beauty and transformation, every moment tells a story. From the initial consultation to the final touches, my goal is to celebrate individuality and create lasting memories. The joy on my clients’ faces, like the radiant smile of a fresh haircut, is what drives my passion.
Every great creation begins in a unique environment. My salon is not just a workplace—it’s a sanctuary. It’s where laughter fills the air, creativity flows, and every client hopefully feels at home.
Behind the scenes, the energy is electric. Whether I’m styling hair for a special event or crafting a look for a photoshoot, each session is infused with creativity. The candid moments captured—like my playful interaction with clients or the focused concentration during a styling session—reflect the genuine relationships I forge with them.
Every client is unique, which is why I tailor my approach to suit their personality and style. The image of a woman receiving a makeover or the laughter shared during a styling session reminds me that beauty comes in many forms. It’s a privilege to contribute to their confidence and self-expression.
My work is not just about beauty; it’s about building a community.
As I continue to evolve, I embrace opportunities to share my journey.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
