We were lucky to catch up with Laura Keoroglian recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Laura thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
I had always been involved in education and I was the owner and principal of an educational center in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Since I belong to an Armenian family, we always have the custom of drinking Armenian coffee after meals, and there’s always a grandmother or aunt who wants to take a look at the coffee cup and give a prediction about your life.
But I”very much never been interested in that kind of things.
However, that day It was my father’s birthday, and we were drinking coffee when one of my sisters arrived with her new boyfriend. To my surprise, he asked me to read his coffee cup.. I accepted the challenge, even though I’d never done it before and wasn’t particularly curious.
When I looked inside the cup, I saw that the images left in the coffee had transformed into a man holding a baby in his arms, and a woman was hugging them both from behind. I told him what I saw and I felt that a powerful, emotional atmosphere was created. That day I felt that coffee reading would become into something I wanted to keep practicing to see where this art would lead me. Of course, to my surprise, my sister and that man later had their only daughter, who is now my niece.
But I never made the decision to dedicate myself professionally to this art. I took it up as a hobby until my school went bankrupt, and it was at that moment that I decided to take coffee reading seriously. and that decision changed my life

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

path both in the media and on international stages. Thanks to her career, she
is now considered the leading figure in the art of coffee grounds reading in the
Americas

Any advice for managing a team?
when I started reading coffee i noticed that my family and friends thought that this job was something completely low and unbecoming of someone like me with a university degree. I felt that they looked at me with pity, thinking that since I had gone broke I was doing that job because I didn’t any other outcome.
I understood their feelings, but at the same time, I realized that I was increasingly convinced of what I was doing and that this art allowed me to help people. Therefore, my best advice is to pay attention to how you feel with your new venture. In addition to the fear you might have about taking a risk on something new, you feel love for doing it, don’t hesitate to continue and take it to the top.
be proud of yourself no matter what other people think, even the closest ones.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
For over 10 years I participated in personal growth and consciousness expansion workshops. I was just following my intuition with the only goal of getting to know myself better. This constant exercise of my mind and spirit allowed me to open an unknown channel. Never stop or consider any training or knowledge finished. Always amplify and expand. your point of view.
