We were lucky to catch up with Queen Lin recently and have shared our conversation below.
Queen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Queen Your Hair Growth Oil started from my desire to create a meaningful business that helps people feel confident and cared for. I’ve always loved creating, and I wanted to develop a natural, nourishing product that supports healthy hair and encourages self-care for the whole family. After researching and blending oils and seeing how much people loved the results, I knew it was something worth sharing.
What makes it special to me is that it’s for everyone — women, men (“King Your Hair”), and even kids. My goal is simple: help every person feel good about their crown and walk in confidence.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is QueenLin, and I’m the founder of Queen Your Hair Growth Oil. I’m a mom, creator, and entrepreneur who’s always had a passion for building things that help people feel good about themselves.
I stepped into the hair care space because I wanted to create natural, nourishing products that support healthy hair for the whole family — women, men (“King Your Hair”), and kids. My oils are designed to promote growth, strength, and overall hair health while encouraging confidence and self-care.
What sets me apart is that my brand is personal and heart-led. Everything is made with intention and care, not just to sell a product but to truly uplift people. I’m most proud of creating something that helps others feel confident, crowned, and cared for every day.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Building Queen Your Hair Growth Oil while balancing motherhood, work, and everyday life has been one of the biggest tests of my resilience. There were times I felt stretched thin — working, caring for my family, and still trying to grow a business from the ground up with limited time and resources.
But I didn’t wait for the “perfect” moment. I started anyway — mixing oils, learning as I went, and showing up consistently, even on the hard days. That experience taught me that resilience isn’t about having everything figured out; it’s about staying committed to your vision no matter what.
Every challenge reminded me why I started: to create something meaningful that helps others feel confident and cared for. That purpose keeps me going.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots in my journey came when I realized I couldn’t wait for the “perfect” time to start my business. Between working, motherhood, and everyday responsibilities, there never seemed to be extra time or ideal conditions. At first, I thought I needed everything lined up before launching.
But I quickly learned that waiting would only delay my dream.
So I shifted my mindset and decided to start small with what I had — creating products from home, learning as I went, and growing step by step instead of all at once. That pivot taught me to be flexible, resourceful, and trust the process.
It showed me that progress doesn’t have to be perfect — it just has to be consistent.
