We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Angelique Ramirez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Angelique, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
When I first started my business I was just a mom and DIY kits for my kids birthdays! I had no idea how to build arches or make my own creations but I started and kept on learning more and more! Family and friends started liking my decorations and creations and would book my services! From there we created our business pages and kept on adding on new services! We now have anything from customizations to party decor and more! Anything you can think of we can create for you at family friendly prices!

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I explained that I am a mom first! All good things start from the beginning and sprout from there! I created my little business page and posted as often as I would create! We began with party decor and DIY designs from there we began investing in all things we could use for customizations!
Most clients come to me with an idea and I simply bring their creations to life! Not all creations can be found in the stores! Just like all creations everything is explained from start to finish with images and designs sent to the customer every step of the way to bring the creation to their liking!
The most important thing that sets my business apart is that we bring all creations to life at family friendly prices! Who doesn’t like a good deal right? Of course! We all love a good deal and we are proud to bring your creation to life with those family friendly prices!

Any fun sales or marketing stories?
We just started getting into markets and sales this year for the first year! We signed up for a market fair at a community event and didn’t know if we would be able to sale any items or customizations! The worst part is that there is many other competitive vendors at this market that also sold customizations!
So we decided to take a leap of faith and invest in some items, that we could customize on the spot! Not only did we create a heat press bar but we also set ourself apart with our family friendly prices! Needless to say we sold out at this event! All customized items were sold out and we gained a great profit on the items sold!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I can say the most rewarding part of a customization business is always the customers reaction! Most customers come to me with an idea and of course something you can’t find at a store or online and always end up with the biggest smiles when their creations come to life! I would say the reaction of the customer is always the most rewarding part!
