We recently connected with Linda Meighan and have shared our conversation below.
Linda, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
What my mother did right was seeing each of her four children as individuals. She never treated us the same, not out of favoritism, but because she understood we were all different. That shaped how I live and how I work today, because I know healing is never one-size-fits-all.
I was a tough kid, and she had plenty of chances to say, “I told you so,” but she never did. Even when I hid a tattoo under a band-aid for years, she just let me learn in my own time. That taught me patience, compassion, and how to let people grow at their own pace, something I bring to every client I work with.
My mother was incredibly strong. She worked full-time, led Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, stayed active in the community, and still made sure we were involved and supported. But she held everything inside- her stress, her pain, her emotions. I believe that it hurt her physically, and it taught me the importance of release. That’s why so much of my work is about helping people let go of what they carry.
One of my favorite memories is our ritual of teatime. Wherever we traveled- every state, every country, we would stop, sit together, breathe, and just be. That ritual is why I’ve carried herbal tea into my own healing practice today.
My mom taught me about individuality, compassion, strength with softness, the need to release and so much more. Those lessons guide everything I do.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Linda Meighan, and I’m the founder of LoveWelll, a heart-centered wellness brand devoted to helping people align their mind, body, and spirit so they can live healthier, more balanced, and fulfilling lives. My journey began over 25 years ago, driven by my own path of healing and transformation. I experienced firsthand how the body mirrors the mind and how natural health practices can awaken vitality and clarity.
I started my career in herbalism and natural health, studying how herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle choices support the body’s innate ability to heal. Over time, I began integrating hypnotherapy and mind-body alignment techniques into my work, because I realized that true, lasting wellness starts with what we believe and feel internally. Many people want to change their habits or reduce stress, but the subconscious mind often holds the key, that’s where transformation becomes effortless.
Through LoveWelll, I offer personalized hypnotherapy sessions, guided meditation recordings, wellness consultations, and educational presentations that help people relieve stress, release old patterns, and reconnect with their natural rhythm of health and peace. My clients range from individuals seeking emotional healing or better sleep to corporate professionals who want to manage stress and perform with more ease and clarity.
What sets me apart is my gentle, integrative approach combining science-based wellness practices with intuitive, heart-centered guidance. I help people feel safe enough to let go of resistance and learn how to nourish themselves from the inside out. Whether it’s through herbal remedies, simple daily practices, or subconscious reprogramming, I teach practical ways to sustain balance and joy in everyday life.
I’m most proud of witnessing my clients’ transformations when they start sleeping through the night, being gentle with themselves, or rediscovering their confidence and calm. Those moments remind me that healing isn’t complicated; it’s about creating space for the body and mind to remember how to thrive.
The message I hope people take away from LoveWelll is simple:
Love your mind. Love your body. Love your life.
Wellness is not about perfection; it’s about connection – to yourself, to nature, and to the life you’re meant to live.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
For many years, I worked for a company that helped people with herbal supplements. Back then, I was convinced that if we used natural remedies, we didn’t need doctors at all. Herbs had changed my life physically and mentally, so I couldn’t imagine why anyone would still rely on traditional medicine.
One day, I spoke with a customer who was preparing for a medical procedure. I asked why she didn’t try herbs instead. She gently told me, “I’m the only provider in my household, and I have children to care for.” I didn’t fully understand her perspective then, but I do now.
Years later, I faced my own medical challenge. I tried everything natural before finally realizing I needed medical help. By my third emergency visit, I knew I couldn’t ignore it any longer; it was affecting my ability to work and quality of life. I was terrified of going under anesthesia, especially signing that paper that says you might not wake up. Before surgery, I said a prayer and surrendered it to God.
That experience changed everything. It taught me humility, empathy, and balance. I finally understood that doctors play a vital role- not to take over our choices, but to help us see what’s happening so we can make informed decisions. Healing isn’t about choosing between modern medicine and natural health; it’s about learning how both can support us. That realization completely softened my understanding of what true healing means.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
Absolutely! I would choose this same path again and again.
My work today blends herbalism, hypnotherapy, and mind-body-spirit alignment. When I began, I believed wellness was mostly about herbs and physical healing. But as I healed, my awareness opened and I discovered that our minds, emotions, and beliefs are deeply connected to our health.
Now I see healing as a puzzle with so many pieces: the body, the mind, the heart, and our faith. Each one matters. And if I could go back and start over with all the understanding I have now, I’d walk the same road, only with deeper compassion and gratitude for how every part of us works together to bring true, lasting wellness.
