Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rachel Kalb. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Rachel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
Stepping away from the corporate world wasn’t just a career shift for me — it was a soul-level initiation.
I spent years in the tech and AI startup space, working my way into a secure executive role as Head of Operations. I had the salary, the benefits, the structure, the safety. As a single mother of twins who had already walked through wildfire, heartbreak, and rebuilding my life from ashes, that security should have been comforting.
But it wasn’t.
It felt like a cage lined with gold.
There was a deeper part of me — the part that has always been devoted to healing, transformation, community, and the body, mind, and spirit — whispering that something bigger was calling me. I could feel this vision pulsing under my skin: a global ecosystem where healers, coaches, and transformational entrepreneurs could rise together. A world where people remembered who they are and what they’re capable of. A space to amplify voices that are here to elevate humanity.
Walking away from corporate wasn’t logical. It wasn’t “responsible” on paper. It wasn’t easy.
It was terrifying.
But it was one of those moments where your soul says, If you don’t leap, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life.
So I leapt.
I left the paycheck. The predictable rhythms. The title. The comfort.
And I poured everything I had — my time, my heart, my savings, my intuition — into building Body Mind Spirit World, a global platform that now connects thousands of healers, seekers, and conscious entrepreneurs. We’ve grown into a full digital ecosystem with a directory, virtual summits, a magazine, events, AI-powered matchmaking, a thriving community, and partnerships with some of the biggest names in the spiritual and wellness space.
What came from taking that risk wasn’t just business growth — it was personal liberation.
I became the woman I always knew I could be:
Bold. Devoted. Visible. Unapologetically aligned with my purpose.
And now, every time I see a healer get their first client because of our platform, or someone finds the support they’ve been searching for, or a coach steps into the spotlight and remembers their power… I’m reminded that the scariest leaps are always the ones that build the most beautiful futures.
Leaving corporate wasn’t a risk I took — it was a path I chose.
And it led me home to myself.

Rachel, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
ABOUT YOU & YOUR BUSINESS / BRAND
My name is Rachel Kalb, and I’m the founder of Body Mind Spirit World — a global digital ecosystem designed to elevate healers, coaches, spiritual entrepreneurs, and transformational leaders. My path has taken me from hands-on healing work to executive leadership in tech and AI, and ultimately back to the mission that has lived in my heart my entire life: helping others rise.
I began over 25 years ago in the wellness world as a healer and bodyworker, supporting people through deep transformation and emotional healing. Over time, I transitioned into the digital tech and AI startup world, eventually serving as Head of Operations for a growing company. I learned how to build systems, teams, and scalable infrastructures — and I realized that while I loved innovation, my soul belonged in the work of consciousness, growth, and service.
Then life delivered a defining moment.
A fire ripped through Southern Oregon and took my home and everything in it. I was raising twins alone, finishing my MBA, leading a team of coaches, and rebuilding my life piece by piece. That experience stripped away everything unnecessary and revealed what mattered most. I knew I was meant to create something that brought healing, leadership, connection, and visibility to the people doing some of the most important work in the world.
That’s how Body Mind Spirit World came to life.
Today, BMSW is an expanding ecosystem designed to uplift transformational leaders and support the global community seeking growth and healing. Our offerings include:
✨ A global digital directory for coaches, healers, guides, and wellness practitioners
✨ Virtual summits and expos that highlight powerful voices and bring community together
✨ A digital magazine featuring leaders, innovators, and emerging talent
✨ Transformational Matchmaking, an AI-powered system connecting seekers to the right practitioners
✨ Transformational AI, blending journaling, meditation, and conscious AI tools
✨ Brand visibility, creative direction, and marketing strategy for spiritual entrepreneurs ready to scale their impact
What makes my work unique is the fusion of soul, strategy, and technology. I bring the lived experience of a healer, the operational expertise of a tech executive, and the visionary ambition of a founder who believes deeply in the power of community and transformation.
I’m proud of the movement we’re building — thousands of members, global partnerships, and a rapidly growing audience of people who are hungry for connection, authenticity, and meaningful change. I’m proud that we’re giving transformational leaders the support they’ve never had before: structure, visibility, and a place to belong.
But what I’m most proud of is the heart behind all of it:
Body Mind Spirit World exists so no healer, coach, intuitive, or transformational leader has to rise alone.
We’re building a global village where voices are amplified, missions are supported, and humanity grows because of the people brave enough to serve it.
If people take one thing away about me or this platform, I want it to be this:
Your work matters. Your voice matters. And this is your home to be seen.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I didn’t build my audience overnight or through some perfectly engineered strategy. I built it by showing up during some of the messiest, most human parts of my life — and letting people see the real, evolving, imperfect me.
My audience started forming years ago when I began sharing my healing journey, my spiritual practices, and the raw truth of rebuilding my life after losing everything in a fire that ripped through Southern Oregon. People didn’t connect with the highlight reel — they connected with the vulnerability, the honesty, the “here’s what I’m learning and here’s what I’m unlearning” energy.
When I stepped into leadership roles in tech and AI, I continued sharing what I was experiencing behind the scenes: navigating motherhood, burnout, purpose, spirituality, intuition, entrepreneurship, and what it means to rebuild your identity while building companies.
As I launched Body Mind Spirit World, I leaned fully into storytelling — my own story, yes, but also the stories of healers, coaches, intuitives, and transformational leaders I believed in. The audience grew because it was never just about me. It was about us. It was about community. It was about elevating voices that deserved to be heard.
I built my audience by:
✨ Being consistent even when I wasn’t perfect
✨ Sharing the actual journey, not just the polished wins
✨ Highlighting others and creating spaces for them to shine
✨ Giving value that helped people feel understood, supported, and inspired
✨ Blending spirituality, mindset, humanity, and business in a way that felt authentic
People can feel when you’re in your mission. That’s what creates magnetism.

How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots of my life happened during a season where everything felt like it was falling apart at once. I was raising twins on my own, finishing my MBA, leading a large team at a wellness tech company, and trying to maintain some sense of stability… when a fire ripped through Southern Oregon and took my home and everything in it.
There’s a kind of pivot you choose — and then there’s the kind you get thrown into with no warning.
In the months that followed, I was forced to rebuild my life piece by piece. And as painful as it was, that moment became a reset button. It showed me what wasn’t aligned anymore. It made me face the truth that even though I was succeeding in the corporate and tech world, my soul was calling me somewhere else.
Another pivot came shortly after:
I walked away from my role as Head of Operations at a tech/AI startup — something most people would consider the “safe” path — to build Body Mind Spirit World from the ground up.
That wasn’t a graceful pivot.
It was a leap, a surrender, and a remembering.
I had to redefine what success looked like.
I had to trust myself more than my fear.
I had to choose purpose over predictability.
That pivot turned into the foundation of a global movement — a digital ecosystem now serving thousands of coaches, healers, intuitives, and transformational entrepreneurs. I went from leading someone else’s mission to building my own.
And here’s what I learned:
Pivoting isn’t always about starting over.
Sometimes it’s about finally becoming who you were meant to be.
Sometimes life cracks you open so you can get aligned with your purpose.
Sometimes the plan falls apart because the vision needs more space.
And sometimes the hardest pivot becomes the most powerful transformation.
I didn’t pivot because I wanted to — I pivoted because I refused to stay somewhere my soul had outgrown.
And it changed everything.
