We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Brandon Davis a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Brandon, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
I realized I wanted to pursue acting and voice acting the moment I felt that spark — that pull that told me this is where I’m meant to be. It wasn’t just a hobby or something “cool” to try… it was the first time something felt right down to my core. Stepping into different characters, telling stories, bringing emotion and energy to life with my voice — it lit me up in a way nothing else ever did.
The more I learned, the more I worked, the more I got on set and behind the mic, the clearer it became: this is my purpose. This is what I want to grow in, grind for, study, master, and give everything to. Acting and voice acting made me feel alive, made me feel seen, and made me realize just how far I can go if I truly lock in.
That’s when I knew — this isn’t just a dream.
It’s my career.
And I’m all in.

Brandon, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
What separates me the most from others in my profession isn’t just talent — it’s my relentless drive. I don’t wait for opportunities… I create them. I study, I train, I practice, and I show up even on the days when motivation is low. I treat every audition, every mic check, every moment on set like it’s my shot to prove why I belong here. I’m not afraid to outwork anyone, and I’m not afraid to grow, evolve, or be uncomfortable in the process. My consistency, my hunger, and my ability to keep pushing even when the path gets tough — that’s what sets me apart.
And what I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come without ever losing my fire. I’m proud of the discipline I’ve built, the risks I’ve taken, the hours I’ve put in, and the passion I bring to every role. I’m proud that I never gave up on myself, even when the odds told me to. I’m proud that I’m building this career from the ground up — with heart, with work, and with a vision that gets clearer every day.
This journey isn’t easy, but it’s mine — and I’m proud of the artist, the professional, and the person I’m becoming through it.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I built my following and audience on social media the same way I’ve been building my career — through consistency, authenticity, and real work. I show up every day and post reels, voice clips, and the auditions I’m doing in real time, so people see the actual grind, not just the polished end result. Nothing staged, nothing fake — just the journey as it’s happening.
I didn’t wait for a perfect moment or some big break to start sharing. I let people in on the process: the characters I’m working on, the growth, the failures, the wins, and the behind-the-scenes of becoming both an actor and a voice actor. And people connected with that honesty.
I’ve built my audience by being present, engaging with supporters, collaborating when I can, and refusing to let slow views or algorithms dictate my momentum. Every post has purpose — to show my craft, my grind, and my evolution.
Little by little, that audience turned into a community — people who respect the work, appreciate the transparency, and believe in where I’m headed. I didn’t buy attention. I earned it by showing the real journey, one post and one audition at a time.
Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
I’ve been through moments that stripped life down to its rawest form — moments where I had nothing but my will to keep going. When I was homeless, I learned very quickly how fast “friends” can disappear. People I thought I could lean on vanished the second things got hard. That kind of loneliness hits different… it forces you to see the truth about who’s really in your corner.
But even in that darkness, I didn’t stop. I kept pushing, kept grinding, kept believing that my story wasn’t going to end there. I refused to let that pain define me. I used it as fuel. Every night I didn’t have a place to stay, every person who turned their back on me, every moment I felt forgotten — all of it built a fire in me that still burns today.
I climbed out of that place with nothing but resilience, hunger, and the belief that I was meant for more. And now, every step forward, every opportunity, every piece of growth… it’s a reminder of where I came from and how far I’ve climbed.
I didn’t fold.
I didn’t quit.
I kept going — and that’s why I’m here today.
