We recently connected with Sidney Tindall and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Sidney, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
The most meaningful project I’ve done would be creating the “Fragile” brand. This brand is a huge part of my life as it takes my past and turns it into a sign that things will get better. I lost my father to suicide in 2011 and realized how big of a problem suicide is in our country. I wanted to be a change so, I created the brand to raise awareness and let everyone know that a person is fragile and a person can break too.

Sidney, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Sidney Tindall and I am the current Miss Lake Murray Volunteer! I am an advocate for Suicide Prevention as well as Mental Health Awareness. I believe what sets me apart from others in the same fields as myself, is that I’m taking a personal story and turning into an empowering impact. I’m not letting it define me but am letting it push me to make a difference in others lives. Overall, I am so proud to help others share their own stories and help them learn how they can help others!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
I’d have to say the messages I receive and the smiles I see upon others faces. Changing lives or simply just helping another is the best feeling in the world. Knowing that you did something to make someone else’s days is indescribable. I hope everyone gets to feel that at some point in their life.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The goal/mission is to lower the statistics. Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in America. It effects all ages, genders, and races. I want to be the change WE as a society needs.
