Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Farrah Larae. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Farrah, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Parents play a huge role in our development as youngsters and sometimes that impact follows us into adulthood and into our lives and careers. Looking back, what’s something you think you parents did right?
My parents modeled resilience and consistency. They were serial entrepreneurs and pastors, raising eight children while leading ministries in multiple cities. What stood out was their ability to keep going. No matter what season we were in—financial strain, long travel days, managing different personalities in a large family—giving up was never an option. They learned how to pivot, create, rebuild, and start again when they needed to.
One memory that shaped me was watching them close a business that wasn’t working and, within weeks, launch another one with the same determination and faith. There was no panic, no defeat, just “Okay, what’s next?” I realized that resilience is not a personality trait; it’s a discipline. It’s a decision to commit to the vision even when the circumstances shift.
That formed the foundation of how I move in my career. I pivot quickly, I don’t let setbacks define me, and I build with the long-term in mind. Their example taught me that calling requires endurance, and entrepreneurship requires flexibility. Because of them, I am able to hold vision and responsibility at the same time—just like they did.

Farrah, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I am Farrah LaRae, a faith-based entrepreneur, speaker, and founder of The Elite Society. My work centers around empowering women to live with clarity, confidence, and conviction—spiritually, personally, and professionally. I grew up in a family of serial entrepreneurs and pastors, so leadership, creativity, and service were part of my environment from an early age. I learned how to build, how to communicate, and how to steward influence in a way that uplifts others. That naturally carried me into public relations, brand development, and women’s empowerment.
I first entered the PR and communications industry helping creatives and entrepreneurs shape their story, grow their visibility, and build platforms that matched the quality of their work. Over time, the work evolved. I realized that visibility is not just about media and marketing—it’s about identity, clarity, voice, faith, and mindset. Today, I provide coaching, consulting, community experiences, and events that help women get rooted in who they are, who God called them to be, and what they are here to build.
I host The Elite Society, an empowerment platform and community that includes:
– Women’s conferences
– Faith-based mentorship and coaching
– Courses and educational resources
– A digital community focused on prayer, purpose, and strategic personal development
The core problem I solve is alignment. Many women have gifts, ideas, and influence but struggle with direction, confidence, discipline, or clarity around their message. I help them identify their identity and message, shape it into something impactful, and then walk it out with consistency and grace. My work blends faith, personal development, and strategic execution. It’s not just motivation—it’s structure.
What sets my brand apart is that I don’t teach women to chase image or hustle culture. I teach them to build from identity, wholeness, and relationship with God. I believe your calling should never require you to abandon your peace, your family, or your sense of self. I am most proud of the transformation I witness: women finding their voice again, rebuilding their confidence, launching what they were scared to start, and living freer, fuller lives.
If there is one thing I want people to know, it is that God can use every part of your story. Nothing is wasted. When you become rooted—spiritually, emotionally, and mentally—you don’t just grow, you flourish. My work is for women who desire that kind of growth.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been rooted in authenticity and relationship. I don’t focus on “selling” first—I focus on connection, value, and trust. Because of that, a large portion of my clients come through referrals, community, and repeat engagement rather than traditional advertising.
Authenticity has been a key driver. I show up as myself—my wins, my lessons, my process—and that transparency helps my audience feel seen and understood. When people feel connected to your truth, they are more willing to trust your expertise.
Relationship-building is another pillar. I follow up. I check in. I remember what someone told me they were praying for or working toward. Those small, intentional touch points are powerful. Most opportunities are secured in the follow-up, not the initial introduction.
Consistency is what makes everything sustainable. I’m consistent in my messaging, my tone, and the experience I provide—whether someone is watching my content for free or working with me at a premium level. I believe consistency proves credibility.
Together, those elements create a business that doesn’t rely on pressure tactics or trends. Instead, it grows organically through genuine connection, clear value, and the reliability of showing up fully—over time.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my audience on social media by showing up as myself and focusing on connection over virality. In the beginning, I didn’t try to be “everywhere” or everything to everyone. I paid attention to what I naturally had to offer — encouragement, perspective, faith, and the behind-the-scenes of becoming—and I shared that consistently. Over time, people connected not just with my content, but with my voice and my values.
I made it a point to engage with people. Not just posting and logging off, but responding to comments, joining conversations, affirming others’ work, and being present. Authentic engagement builds real community, not just followers. When people feel seen, they stay.
I also focused on relatable and meaningful content. The most effective content online tends to fall into a few categories: relatable, entertaining, aspirational, educational, or inspirational. I leaned into the moments and messages that made people feel understood or encouraged. If your content helps someone feel seen, think differently, or believe again—you’re already winning.
For those just starting:
– Know your perspective and stand in it.
– Share your process, not just your polished outcomes.
– Engage like a human, not a brand.
– Be consistent enough for people to recognize and trust your voice.
– Don’t be afraid to be polarizing when it comes to your values. Not everyone is meant to connect with you, and that’s what helps the right people find you.
The goal isn’t to go viral. The goal is to build resonance. When your presence resonates, your audience grows with purpose.
