We were lucky to catch up with Marysol Rezanov recently and have shared our conversation below.

Marysol, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s go back in time to when you were an intern or apprentice – what’s an interesting story you can share from that stage of your career?

All social work students that attend the Masters in Social Work program at UNLV are required to initially attain exposure to the vast social work field. In the Social Work program, there were three tracks to select from, which was Welfare, Administration, or Direct Practice. I personally chose Direct Practice because I wanted to become a Licensed Clinician.

When I started initial exposure to Direct Practice in several practicum sites, I strongly believed that I needed to help others, as well to advocate for them. What I didn’t know was that helping others is not always appropriate. I lacked insight and professional experience. I didn’t know about addiction, co-dependency, dependency, enabling, systemization, and manipulation.

Overtime, I have learned that there has to be appropriate boundaries with everyone. It is alright to say no to others if what they are asking for does not benefit them in their highest and best interest. I have also learned that doing the right thing is not always easy.

Marysol, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Marysol Rezanov. I have been in the mental health field for almost twenty years. I have worked at inpatient mental health hospitals, as well as in outpatient settings. I am very confident with my level of expertise. My specialized experience as a licensed psychotherapist is in Chronic Mental Health, Dual Diagnosis, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Treatment.

In 2024, I opened up an additional business, Tierra Del Sol, which is a Lightwork Shamanic practice. Tierra Del Sol is a spiritual alternative healing practice. Some clients choose this method of treatment over the medical model one. Tierra Del Sol is a practice that reflects the current and upcoming changes of the New World. These Indigenous belief systems are rooted from Ancient Civilization Beliefs and Practices from medicine men and woman.

My work has been intertwining Modern Medicine and Ancient Medicine. It has been complicated, but yet achievable.

In 2025, I was offered the position of Nevada State Leader for Citizens for Disclosure, which is under the non-profit, New Paradigm Institute. I accepted this position because I personally believe that UAP Disclosure is a part of the transition to the New World. I am currently also assisting other states: Utah and Arizona on this journey to full disclosure and assimilation to the New World.

As a lightworker, I offer my services on a Micro, Mezzo, and Macro Level to assist others.

Training and knowledge matter of course, but beyond that what do you think matters most in terms of succeeding in your field?

It is important that there is trust and rapport between a therapist and a patient. When a patient develops the courage to seek treatment and takes the steps in an attempt to heal, it is important that the therapist is receptive to this. Patients can tell when they are with a therapist that doesn’t care about them, and this disrupts their treatment and progress.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I am a treatment provider that truly cares about my patients, and this can be seen through trust, my hard work, dedication, and good ethics. I am reputable and respected within the Las Vegas community and the medical field. This is why I get referrals from hospitals, outpatient providers, the school district, family and justice court, child protective services, department of family services, parole & probation, and through word-of-mouth.
