We recently connected with Maddi Kligerman and have shared our conversation below.
Maddi, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Remeinz was born during my own self-discovery — an exploration of what it truly means to embody heaven on earth. It became a reflection of rebirth, something I’ve experienced many times throughout my personal and creative life. I started taking jewelry-making classes to reconnect with my hands and create without pressure, and when the name came to me in meditation, I knew I had to follow it.
The name Remeinz comes from the belief that we’re all connected by energetic cords and when the ones that no longer serve us are released, only love remains. That idea of love as the one unbreakable thread between us became the foundation of the brand.
Living between LA and New York shapes the duality of Remeinz: raw yet refined, artful yet wearable, emotional yet quietly powerful. Each piece is handmade in sterling silver with intentionally chosen stones — sculptural and timeless, genderless by design, made to feel effortless with anything from a T-shirt to a slip dress.
Each collection is inspired by something real — heartbreak, healing, rebirth, love. I wanted to create something with soul, merging emotional storytelling, fine design, and subculture edge in a way I hadn’t seen before.
At its core, Remeinz is about inspiring others to create their own heaven on earth — pieces you wear not just because they look good, but because they mean something.
Maddi, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m the founder and designer of Remeinz — a fine jewelry brand rooted in love, with a little edge. Before launching Remeinz, I worked across the fashion and creative industries. I was always drawn to fashion but often struggled to find deeper meaning within it. Jewelry became the perfect medium to express everything I love — something lasting, intimate, and meaningful that I could share with the world.
Each piece is handmade in sterling silver and designed with intention. I don’t come from a traditional jewelry background — I create intuitively, led by impulse, emotion, and energy rather than rigid technique.
Remeinz was born to fill a gap I saw in the industry — jewelry that carries both meaning and edge. It’s for people who want their pieces to feel personal, not just polished; something that reflects their story and individuality.
I’m most proud of how Remeinz has impacted my community beyond the jewelry itself. When people connect not only because they love the pieces, but because they can feel the heart and intention behind the brand. That means everything to me. One of my biggest intentions is to inspire others — to see me doing what I love and feel expanded to do the same for themselves.
Remeinz is a reminder to create your own heaven on earth, and to wear what feels true to you.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I always say building your own company is the most spiritual thing you can do because it mirrors everything back to you. It reflects your self-worth, your intuition, your strengths, and your shadows. It breaks you down just enough to rebuild you stronger. It asks you to trust yourself when there’s no evidence yet — to become the version of yourself who can hold both the dream and the doubt.
Launching Remeinz has tested my resilience every single day, and it still does. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that there’s really only one person who needs to believe in you — and that’s you. If you’re not anchored in self-belief, every high and low will dictate your worth.
Support from others is beautiful and necessary, but it can’t be your foundation. I’ve learned to walk into every meeting, every shoot, and every decision as the sole believer in my vision — so that nothing negative can shake me, and nothing positive becomes my crutch.
Every time your resilience is tested, it’s really your self-belief being tested. I’ve learned that hearing people believe in you or love your brand only truly resonates when you already embody that belief yourself. When things slow down or uncertainty creeps in, that’s when resilience becomes spiritual — when you have to anchor into faith and trust that, no matter what, it will work out, because your belief in yourself and your purpose is unshakable.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
For most of my life, I believed that if I wasn’t working hard or constantly being productive, I’d never get what I wanted. Even when the reward was small, that belief kept me chasing more and eventually led to burnout. I reached a point where I had to stop and look at myself — because no matter how much effort I was putting in, I wasn’t receiving it back. That imbalance became a mirror of my lack of inner alignment and made me realize I’d been trying to prove my worth by how much I could carry.
I didn’t realize I was operating from fear until recently — I thought my drive to start Remeinz was rooted purely in passion, not in fearful productivity. I’m incredibly passionate and obsessive when I feel deeply connected to a purpose, and Remeinz is that for me. But one of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that building something from the heart doesn’t respond to force. The more I trust myself and allow rest as part of receiving, the closer I come to truly living my own heaven on earth. It’s a constant balancing act between action, trust, surrender, and faith. The best opportunities have come when I’m grounded, open, and aligned — not when I’m hustling out of fear.
I’m still learning this lesson, but I know it’s at the root of everything. I’ve started to measure success differently — it’s no longer about how much I’m doing, but how connected I feel to what I’m creating. When I’m in that energy, Remeinz naturally expands, opportunities flow with ease, and I actually allow myself to enjoy the world I’m building.
I still work hard — but now it’s from a place of devotion, not desperation. That shift has been one of the most important lessons of this journey.
