We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Arron Gray Lee. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Arron below.
Arron , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.
In August 2024, God called me to leave my job.
At first, I wondered if I was absolutely crazy. But after prayer, fasting, and truly seeking His voice, He confirmed it:
this was the risk He was asking me to take.
A holy risk.
A faith-filled risk.
A risk that made no sense on paper but made perfect sense in my spirit.
I told my husband and others,
“I want to bet on myself. I want to take a chance and see what happens when I go all in on my dreams and the vision God gave me.”
But what I didn’t know then was that every risk—especially the ones God calls you to—comes with refining.
I assumed that because I was being obedient, the journey would be easy.
Naively, I thought abundance would flow from the very start.
But it was anything but easy.
There were days I prayed and cried… then prayed and cried some more.
Days where fear tried to convince me that I took the wrong risk.
Days where going back to work felt safer, more stable, more sensible.
But something in me knew:
If God calls you to it, there’s purpose on the other side of the risk.
Entrepreneurship required a level of faith I didn’t even know existed inside of me.
It required courage I hadn’t fully grown into yet.
It required trusting God in a deeper, more intimate way than ever before.
For months, things felt stagnant—like the risk wasn’t paying off.
Like nothing was happening.
But slowly and quietly, I began to see the fingerprints of God all over my process.
And now—one year later—I’m still standing and my business is expanding.
I’m still growing and learning to obey God and make Him the CEO of my business even when obedience feels scary.
I thank God that I’m not where I used to be but still recognize there are areas that still need to be developed.
This journey taught me that risk isn’t reckless when God is the One calling you.
It’s alignment.
It’s surrender.
It’s preparation for the very thing you prayed for.
And if He asks me to leap again?
I’ll jump—
because I’ve seen how He catches me every single time.

Arron , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Arron Gray Lee, and I am a faith-based entrepreneur, speaker, mentor, founder of Exalted Girl Ministries, and owner of Exalt Your Wrist.
My journey into this work began long before I ever launched a business. It was birthed from years of insecurity, low self-worth, and feeling disconnected from who God created me to be. I spent a long time questioning my identity and wondering if my life carried any real purpose.
Everything shifted when I developed a personal relationship with God and allow Him to heal me from the inside out. As He continues to restore my confidence and reveal my true identity in Christ, I feel a strong calling to help other girls and women experience the same transformation.
In August 2024, God instructed me to take a major leap of faith and leave my 9–5 job. It didn’t make sense at the time, but after prayer and fasting, He confirmed it. I knew it was time to bet on myself—to go all in on the vision He placed in my heart. That leap launched me fully into entrepreneurship and into my assignment of empowering women, youth, and families.

I want people to know that everything I create is intentional, prayed over, and rooted in purpose.
This isn’t business—it’s ministry, assignment, and legacy.
Every workshop, bracelet, devotional, and piece of apparel is designed to uplift, empower, and draw people closer to God.
I want people to know that healing is possible, purpose is real, and God has a plan for their life—even when they can’t see it yet.
My ultimate message is simple:
God sees you, loves you unconditionally, and has a perfect plan for your life.
You are chosen and called for such a time as this. — Esther 4:14

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Honestly, my whole life is an example of resilience. Every season, every setback, every moment of doubt has shaped who I am today. But one moment that stands out the most is when God called me to leave my 9–5 job in August 2024.
I had no blueprint, no guaranteed income, and no idea how things would unfold or where I was going. All I had was a word from God, a vision, and faith of a mustard seed that He was leading me somewhere greater.
What people don’t see is the part that required the most resilience—the months after I leaped.
It wasn’t glamorous.
It wasn’t easy.
It wasn’t instant abundance.
I walked through and still walking through a season of stretching like I have never experienced before. No one talks about how hard it is to BECOME—how old habits have to die in order to develop new habits that bring you closer to purpose, how messy healing is, and how hidden struggles reveal themselves. The obedience it requires and the faith you must carry in a season of uncertainty is unlike anything else.
There were days I prayed and cried but still had to show up for my family.
Days fear whispered I had made a mistake.
Days going back to work felt safer than trusting God’s plan.
Days I wanted to give up and abandon everything God was doing in my life.
But something deep within me refused to quit.
I knew God had called me to greater, even when circumstances didn’t match the promise.
So I stayed the course.
I kept showing up.
I kept believing.
I kept building, even when I couldn’t see progress yet.
Slowly, I began to witness God’s hand on my life, my businesses, and my purpose. And He reminded me why He asked me to leap in the first place.
A year later, I’m still standing. Still growing. Still becoming.
Resilience for me isn’t just surviving hard seasons—it’s trusting God in them.
It’s choosing faith over fear.
It’s believing that even when life feels heavy, God’s plan is still unfolding.
If there’s one thing my journey proves, it’s this:
Resilience isn’t about never falling—it’s about rising and surrendering again and again, stronger, wiser, and more aligned with who God created you to be.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn is the idea that success and obedience to God would be easy.
After my leap of faith, I believed that if I was faithful, hardworking, and doing “all the right things,” life would be smooth and predictable. I thought that following God meant comfort, clarity, and instant reward.
The backstory comes from the season when God called me to leave my 9–5 job in August 2024. I was scared, uncertain, and stepping into something that made no sense from a human perspective. I naively assumed that because I was being obedient, the transition would be seamless—that doors would open immediately, and abundance would flow from day one.
But it wasn’t like that at all. In fact, it was one of the hardest seasons of my life. I walked through uncertainty, fear, and moments of deep doubt. I had to cry, pray, and keep showing up even when I couldn’t see the outcome. I had to wrestle with old habits, self-doubt, and my own definition of what “success” looked like.
Through that season, God taught me that obedience is not about ease—it’s about faith, resilience, and trust. I learned that growth, transformation, and purpose often come wrapped in challenge. And I discovered that the true reward isn’t a smooth journey—it’s becoming the woman God created me to be, strong, confident, and fully aligned with my calling.
Unlearning this lesson changed everything for me. I now embrace seasons of difficulty as opportunities to grow, to trust, and to see God’s hand even when the road is hard.
