We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sinna-G. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sinna-G below.
Alright, Sinna-G thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you share a story about the kindest thing someone has done for you and why it mattered so much or was so meaningful to you?
I started DJ’ing way back in 1999 and by 2005, I had started my on-air Radio career at a small, low-powered, Community Radio Station in Sarasota, Florida.
Along the way, I met many people that afforded me a hand up to further my careers, and I will forever remain grateful to each and every one of them!
One in particular, a person by the name of Rich Schineller did the kindest thing that anyone has ever done for me. As I was gearing up to move from Florida to Colorado to pursue music full-time, Rich provided me with a parting gift. It was a 3-ring binder full of detailed contact information for every single Program Director, at every single Radio Station, in the entire State of Colorado. That allowed me to reach out to every single one of them and send out my air-check and resume, which resulted in getting On-Air at MIX 100 in Denver back in 2014!
I will never forget that gesture, nor the man, since he’s no longer with us after losing his battle with Cancer back in 2023.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
For those who may not have met me yet — hi, I’m Sinna-G. I’m a DJ, on-air radio personality, producer, creative thinker, energy charger, laughter instigator… basically the friend in the room who is going to make you feel like you already belong before you even put your coat down.
I got into this wild industry by pure obsession. I grew up deeply in love with music culture — the way it connects strangers instantly, the way a melody can unlock a mood, a memory, a moment. That fascination led me from the dance floor… to the booth… to a mic… to stages… to studios… and eventually to building a full creative career doing what I love — making people FEEL something.
Today, I create and curate music experiences — live, on-air, digital, and emotional. I DJ events, I host radio, I produce content, I tell honest stories through sound + narrative, and I help brands tap into culture in ways that feel real — not forced. I also create original creative projects (children’s books and journals inspired by classic literature) because I believe creativity should live everywhere — not just in one lane.
The problem I solve? I help people FEEL again. To laugh again. To remember the power of wonder again. I make music and creativity accessible, non-pretentious, human. People are exhausted from being sold at… marketed to… and constantly judged online. My brand is the opposite of all that. My work is designed to make you breathe deeper, smile bigger, and reconnect with what’s real — through shared story, shared art, shared energy.
What makes me different is that I didn’t build a career on trend chasing — I built it on authenticity. I survived unbelievably hard things — family loss, addiction, decades of reinvention — and I came out with more softness, humor, gratitude + joy than ever before. I DJ with that same truth in my chest. I speak on air with that same intention. I create products and content with that same heart.
What I’m most proud of is that I’m still evolving — still passionate — still curious — still radically excited about what’s next. I want potential clients + supporters to know that when you work with me or follow me or bring me into your space — you aren’t just getting music or a set or a voice. You’re getting someone who cares deeply about the psychology of how experiences make people feel — and someone who blends art, memory, story + soul into every single piece of work.
My brand is here to remind you that joy is medicine, music is healing, stories matter, and it is never too late to build something that lights you up!

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
When I first started working with Denver PrideFest, I played my first Pride event in 2011 and then took on managing the “Dance World” stage a few years later (around 2015). At that time, the stage was basically an eight‑inch riser and a six‑foot folding table with splinters — hardly the glamour you imagine.
But I believed in the vision: a space with energy, love, unity, and top‑tier sound. So, I kept asking for that little bit more each year — better production value, LED screens, bigger brand support. Gradually, it transformed. What began as a humble setup became a professional stage that people recognized for its vibe.
That journey reminds me: resilience isn’t just surviving big blows — it’s the consistent effort, year after year, even when everything looks small. I watched something grow under my hands, and that taught me patience, grit, and belief in slow progress.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Absolutely — there is a clear mission behind what I do, and it drives every set, every radio show, every creative project. From my early days of giving away CDs, to the moment I decided to go full time with DJing, I knew this: I don’t just want to play music —I want to connect, inspire, and uplift.
My mission is to make music and creative experiences that feel inclusive and electric. I specialize in house‑based genres (vocal house, deep house, tech‑house, lounge, mash‑ups) and I use that palette to create environments where people feel seen, feel energy and belong.
I also want to push boundaries: playing tracks people may not expect, bringing something new to the audience, and doing so with authenticity. In an industry that’s often male‑dominated (which I’ve experienced) and where people often expect you to fit certain boxes, my mission is to break some of those boxes.
Finally, I want to use the platform I have — as a full‑time DJ, radio personality on MIX 100 (100.3 FM) in Denver, etc. — to build community, to help others see that if I can make the leap (selling everything I owned and driving cross‑country to Denver to pursue this) they can too.
In short: My goal isn’t just “play another set” — it’s to create moments that transcend noise, bring people together, amplify joy, and prove that creativity and courage can thrive, even when you start from scratch.
