We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Kenjamin Franklin. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Kenjamin below.
Hi Kenjamin, thanks for joining us today. Parents can play a significant role in affecting how our lives and careers turn out – and so we think it’s important to look back and have conversations about what our parents did that affected us positive (or negatively) so that we can learn from the billions of experiences in each generation. What’s something you feel your parents did right that impacted you positively.
Taking me to Broadway Musicals…
and buying me a transistor radio.
It was my introduction to the world of music.
They also promoted healthy eating… it enabled me to not be addicted to the junk food that too many eat in high frequency.

Kenjamin, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My entre into my profession started by working at my college radio station..
I was inspired by the pioneering New York City radio personality & Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Alison Steele, The Nightbird… by listening to ‘Ali’s’ late night show an inner voice told me to take chances… and so I took advantage of being on-air and was able to do face to face interviews with Fleetwood Mac and other SuperStars.
The website I will put online in 2026
> RadioTV.com < will showcase the Fleetwood Mac interview as well as others that I have continued to do in the last few years.
My one-person company RadioActive Talent Inc. (also known as Talent 212 & Talent HotSpot) also arrange concerts, interviews and event marketing for Academy + Grammy Award winners, standup comedians and others.
What I find exciting is that that in addition to the various MultiMedia activities with singer/songwriters of #1 hit songs, in the last few years I have been co-writing songs with musicians who have substantial credentials, such as . . . “HIGH LIFE DREAM :
And currently I am collaborating on two additional songs that will be available in 2026…stay tuned… once my social media surfaces you might enjoy these creations.
The main TakeAway about me is constantly finding special / unique ways to showcase the talent I work with…. one example of that is creating the then-named ‘We Will Yacht You’ brand name and arranging concerts with iHeart Radio starring the Academy Award winning co-writer of the Dirty Dancing classic songs “(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life” + “Hungry Eyes” along with a LongTime member of CHICAGO . . with performances in large venues.
On a smaller yet rewarding ‘stage’ I formed the Laughing Gas / Pain Free Comedy Shows in non- traditional venues featuring an eclectic variety of TopShelf New York City comedians…
Having booked comedians on national network TV shows and MTV it’s fun to find different ways to ‘ Enter_tain ‘
Again, it about Exploring the Possibilities and Taking Chances…and as my PEP BOYS grandfather ‘Jack’ once told me . . .
“Gotta Have a Gimmick”

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
Interviewing popular author / motivational speaker Larry Winget and reading LW’s book “Shut Up, Stop Whining and Get A Life is certainly a motivational boot camp.
It shows you that anything is possible if you get off of the couch and ‘Just Do iT’
