We recently connected with Miracle Sims and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Miracle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Thus far in 2025, the biggest risk I’ve taken wasn’t about money or business — it was about standing for truth and love in the face of real opposition.
For years, I’ve used my platform, God, Sex, and Love, to amplify voices that the world often silences. One of those voices belongs to Ally Carter, a human trafficking survivor whose courage and testimony have inspired many since she first went viral in 2020. From the moment we connected in 2021, I knew her story carried divine weight — the kind that stirs both healing and resistance.
When the world’s attention turned toward her again in 2024 after Diddy’s arrest, chaos followed. Suddenly, there were smear campaigns, false accusations, and even personal threats — against her, her adoptive mother Ms. Shelly, and eventually my family and me. Someone claiming to be her birth mother tried to manipulate me into speaking against her. Since choosing to stand with her instead, others have cyberbullied me and the GSL platform, threatened to report me to Child Protective Services, and even targeted my husband through cyberstalking.
It would’ve been easier to stay silent — to protect my reputation, my peace, and my family’s privacy. But I knew God had called me to stand. Not just for Ally, but for truth, integrity, and compassion when it’s most costly. So I refused to be swayed by fear or falsehood.
That choice — to stand publicly beside Ally — came with backlash, but it also came with blessing. In time, God has vindicated what was done in love. Ally, her adoptive mother Ms. Shelly, and I eventually met in person on my 39th birthday, and it felt like a divine confirmation that our bond was rooted in something eternal — not controversy, but calling.
Through this risk, I learned that true courage isn’t loud or glamorous. It’s quiet obedience in the middle of misunderstanding. It’s loving people the way Jesus would — even when the world calls you foolish for it.
In 2025, I didn’t just take a risk — I took a stand. And God met me there.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m Miracle Sims — a wife, mother, and faith-driven entrepreneur who wears many hats, but all with one mission: to help people live and love with purpose. My journey into this work wasn’t something I planned — it was something God cultivated.
I’ve always been a creative at heart. I started out as an actress and writer, driven by a love for storytelling and human connection. Over time, God began to shift my focus from entertainment to encouragement — from chasing roles to helping others understand theirs in His Kingdom. That transition birthed The GSL Talk Show (short for God, Sex, and Love) and a growing catalog of books, podcasts, and coaching services designed to spark healing, purpose, and faith-filled confidence.
Through my work as a Christian Accountability and Cultivation Coach, I help individuals resist temptation, grow spiritually, and cultivate love that reflects Christ — whether that’s in their relationships, leadership, or creative calling. I’ve created practical tools like The Juice Journal and Celibacy Isn’t Your Ministry to help believers navigate their walk with God in honest, relatable ways.
What sets my brand apart is transparency. I don’t just talk about faith — I live it, flaws and all. My coaching and content aren’t built on perfection; they’re built on process. Whether I’m leading a worship skit for children at my church, interviewing survivors and thought leaders on GSL, or guiding couples toward intimacy that honors God, my goal is the same: to help people see that holiness and wholeness are still possible.
I’m most proud of the fact that what began as one woman’s obedience has become a movement that bridges faith, media, and purpose. Every book, broadcast, and conversation is a reminder that God can use anyone — and anything — for His glory.
If you take one thing away from my story, let it be this: your purpose is already in your hands. You just have to let God cultivate it.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
When I first launched The GSL Talk Show (God, Sex, and Love), I had no idea the journey it would take me on. I started it out of obedience — a simple “yes” to God’s nudge to create a space where faith and real-life conversations about love and intimacy could coexist.
But it wasn’t easy. I didn’t have a production team, a big budget, or a guaranteed audience. I had my phone, my faith, and a conviction that someone needed to hear what God was placing on my heart. For a while, it felt like I was pouring out without much visible return. There were seasons when I wanted to quit — when the views were low, the workload was heavy, and I wondered if my obedience was making any difference at all.
Still, every time I considered stopping, God reminded me of the assignment. So, I kept showing up — recording episodes, interviewing guests, writing, coaching, and creating even when I didn’t feel “ready” or “seen.”
Over time, that consistency became fruit. GSL has now reached millions across platforms and continues to grow beyond anything I imagined. The same platform that once felt like a mustard seed has become a ministry that connects believers, breaks stigmas, and helps people rediscover God’s design for intimacy and purpose.
This journey taught me that resilience isn’t loud — it’s steady. It’s faith in motion. It’s trusting that every unseen act of obedience still counts in heaven’s scoreboard.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative?
Absolutely. I think one of the biggest misconceptions non-creatives have is that creativity is just about talent or output — when in reality, it’s about obedience.
For me, being a creative isn’t just about coming up with ideas or producing content; it’s about partnering with God to birth what He places in my spirit. That means there are seasons when He tells me to create, and seasons when He tells me to be still. To the outside world, that can look inconsistent — but to me, it’s sacred rhythm.
Another thing people often don’t see is the emotional and spiritual cost of creating from a place of authenticity. Much of what I produce — whether it’s a The Juice: Your Daily Dose of Inspiration post, a GSL Talk Show episode, or a coaching resource — comes from real lessons I’ve lived. It requires vulnerability and faith to turn personal experiences into public encouragement.
My creative process is deeply intertwined with prayer, Scripture, and discernment. I often say I don’t create for applause — I create from assignment. Every project, post, or book is an act of worship that points back to the One who gave me the gift in the first place.
So while others may see me as a talk show host or author, I see myself as a vessel — someone willing to say “yes” to God in creative form. That’s the part non-creatives might never fully grasp, but it’s also what keeps me grounded, inspired, and at peace in the work I do.
