We were lucky to catch up with Evrin Williams recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Evrin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Going back to the beginning – how did you come up with the idea in the first place?

It kind of just happened. Around covid I had a friend of mine asked me to take pictures for his clothing brand Brooklyn soul. I didn’t even have a camera so he actually brought a camera that his wife had. It was a Nikon something. It wasn’t the best but I got the job done. After that the rest is history

Known in the creative world as Blaque007, I’m a filmmaker, photographer, and visionary storyteller who believes every image should feel like a scene from a movie. Through 007 Studios, I bring a cinematic lens to life where passion meets precision, and creativity becomes timeless art.
My mission is to capture the soul behind every story from high-fashion visuals and brand campaigns to emotional lifestyle moments that feel raw, real, and unforgettable. Each project is built on intention: the lighting, tone, and emotion all working together to create something that moves people.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, the most rewarding part of being an artist is turning someone’s moment into a legacy. As a filmmaker and photographer, I get to take emotions, environment, and imagination and create something that lasts long after the moment is gone. Seeing people light up when they see themselves represented in a powerful, cinematic way that’s the fuel for me. It’s not just art, it’s storytelling. It’s preserving memories. It’s showing people a version of themselves they don’t always get to see. That impact is what keeps me creating every single day.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

Absolutely. Books and motivational leaders have played a huge role in shaping how I approach business and creativity. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill taught me the power of mindset and visualization believing in the vision before anyone else does. Les Brown’s speeches constantly remind me that greatness requires courage, discipline, and showing up even when the world doubts you. And Earl Nightingale’s teachings on personal development and purpose have been a foundation for how I set goals and lead myself as an entrepreneur.
