Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Roswell. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Roswell, thanks for joining us today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
Every project I feel like I tackle gains more meaning as I go on . Each one of my projects have been updates on my growth and current creative space. When I decide to take the time to present where on my journey I am I show a piece of every stop I’ve made a long the way.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Roswell I am a anti-genre Atlanta based artist. My first introduction to music or studying it was 8th grade chorus class. I use to go in the backroom and a group of kids would sing ,rap , and just be freestyling while playing piano I was mystified by it all. Eventually this would be the first push I ever got , to discovering my own creative ability. I started off rapping and then my vision continued to evolve around me. My goal is to be as abstract and free with my expression as possible not having any form of exclusivity with any genre or standard way of doing things. From my projects Verde , Error 404 , and now Utah you’ll be able to see how blurry the concept of genre can be .
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
For me other then the creative process I feel to inspire those who will come after you has to be the most rewarding aspect . All that takes is being as true to your vision as possible . We don’t need songs you don’t really care about or just for some mainstream commercial appeal. As a artist we grow our community by showing the minds of the forward thinkers in the only way we know how to. Music gave me purpose and a will to raise about mediocrity it’s more then rewarding to pass that on.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
My goal is to change the way people see creativity if even for a moment. There is no set way to be a Musician or Photographer , etc there’s only open expression. I think everyone who is a creative should liberate themselves from the boxes they’re put in. I am driven by how much of that I can inspire potentially.
