We recently connected with Matthew Dasinger and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Matthew thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. How did you find your key vendor or vendors? Maybe you can share the backstory and share some context and the relevant details to help us understand why you chose them, why they chose you, etc.
Vendors in the Executive Protection and security world are huge. Making the right connections are key. Most of our clients are word of mouth. We pride ourselves on honesty, clarity, and transparency. We also understand that not every client is a fit for us and vice versa, so we network to make it work for all parties.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I got in the Security and Executive Protection industry at a young age, starting in the United States Marine Corps, at the the age of 18 years old. Getting into the private sector after military service really sharpened my skills as an Executive Protection Operator. I learned how clients have personal expectationsand they all require particular security and protection needs. Customer service and professionalism is a very important part of our job! I’m most proud of our success rate and wide range of satisfied customers.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
As a business owner starting out, We quickly learned that social media plays a huge role in business! I started out by knowing very little about advertising. I invested a good amount of my up front capital on coaching and teaching. We have to spend alot of money investing in ourselves.
Can you talk to us about how your side-hustle turned into something more.
For over 20 years I worked for other companies and businesses, earning and making a name for them. I kept saving, learning, and studying. I was always nervous about leaving a comfort zone of full employment, to be an entrepreneur and strike out on my own. Eventually I took the leap of faith! I believed in my skills and experience and hustled. The good thing about being a business owner is the hustle is for our own business!
