We recently connected with Keith Jenkins and have shared our conversation below.
Keith, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
It was the dead of winter, the kind that settles into your bones. I was sitting in my brother-in-law’s woodworking shop, the air carrying the smell of sawdust and the hum of a propane heater doing its best against the cold. I had just retired from the Army after more than 24 years, and the weight of the question hung over me: what’s next?
We talked as the heater clicked and popped. He threw out ideas like maybe you should start a lawn care service or some type of manual-labor business. I laughed, tugged off my hat, and rubbed my bald head. “I’m 45,” I told him, grinning. “Manual labor isn’t quite as fun as it used to be.”
That’s when the idea hit me. My hand still on my scalp, I said, almost without thinking, “What about a lotion for bald men?”
The shop went quiet for a moment. I pulled out my phone, did a quick search, and what I found shocked me. There were shelves of products for beards, hair growth, and general skincare, but almost nothing designed specifically for bald men. For a group that makes up millions in this country, we were practically invisible in the grooming industry.
That discovery lit a fire. I started experimenting, trying different lotions and skin care products on my scalp until I figured out what worked and what didn’t. Each test confirmed what my gut told me that night: this wasn’t just a passing thought. This was a real opportunity.
For me, the mission runs deeper than skin care. It’s about the values that carried me through my Army career and into this new chapter, values of God, Country, and Family. Warrior’s Crown reflects those values. It’s veteran-owned, American-made, all natural and mineral based products that are created with purpose for men who choose to live boldly.
I want Warrior’s Crown to be more than a product line. I want it to be a movement. A way for bald men to embrace their crown with pride, strength, and confidence. To send the message that bald isn’t something to hide-it’s something to honor.
That winter evening in my brother-in-law’s shop wasn’t just a conversation. It was the spark of a calling. Warrior’s Crown was born out of sawdust, laughter, and a hand rubbed across a bald head, but it’s grown into something much bigger: a brand built for warriors who never hide because the bald and bold never hide.
“Honor the Crown”

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
For those who don’t know me yet, my name is Keith Jenkins. I recently retired after more than 24 years of service in the U.S. Army, where I had the honor of serving with some of the finest warriors in the world. That chapter of my life shaped everything about who I am today my discipline, my leadership, and my commitment to the values I hold closest: God, Country, and Family.
When I stepped into retirement, I knew I wanted my next chapter to carry the same sense of purpose. One winter evening, sitting in my brother-in-law’s shop, the idea came to me almost by accident. I had taken off my hat, rubbed my bald head, and said, “What about a lotion for bald men?” A quick search online showed me what I suspected—there weren’t really products designed specifically for men like me. Millions of bald or head-shaving men out there, yet we were an afterthought in the grooming industry.
That’s how Warrior’s Crown was born.
We create premium scalp-care and grooming products made with all-natural ingredients, specifically for bald and head-shaving men. From daily lotions to sunless tanners, sun screen and soon to market exfoliators, everything we make is designed to hydrate, protect, and promote scalp health – without harsh chemicals. Every product is American-made, veteran-owned, and built with purpose.
What sets us apart is simple: we aren’t trying to be everything to everyone. We’re laser-focused on serving bald men—a market of over 13 million in the U.S. alone—who deserve products tailored to their needs and a brand that celebrates their bold choice. Our tagline says it best: “Honor the Crown”
I’m most proud of two things: first, that this brand was built from the ground up with authenticity, and it started in a shop with a simple question, and it’s grown into a mission. Second, that we’re building more than just a product line; we’re building a community. Baldness isn’t something to cover up, rather it’s something to embrace, to wear proudly like a crown.
What I want potential clients, followers, and fans to know is that Warrior’s Crown isn’t just another grooming brand. It’s a statement. It’s about confidence, masculinity, and legacy. It’s about honoring who you are, the journey you’ve taken, and the values you live by.
At the end of the day, we’re not just selling lotion—we’re giving bald men something the industry has ignored for too long: all-natural, American-made products created for us, by one of us.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
A few months after I first came up with the idea for Warrior’s Crown, reality started to sink in. The excitement was still there, but I was running out of ideas and energy to push it forward. I remember thinking, Maybe this was just a good idea, not something I can actually make happen.
That’s when God stepped in.
My wife and I were traveling to Arizona, and we boarded a plane—me in the aisle seat, my wife in the middle, and a stranger at the window. The moment we sat down, my wife and this gentleman began talking. Like most husbands would, I smiled, put in my headphones, and went back to my audiobook.
At the time, I was listening to Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom, which is a story about connection across faiths and about God’s timing in life. Meanwhile, my wife kept nudging me, whispering, “You need to meet this man.” I finally gave my pleasantries, and his name was Adar, and went back to my book.
About thirty minutes later, I noticed Adar complimenting my wife’s nails. He explained that he worked in the cosmetics industry and was headed to Arizona for a big beauty conference. That’s when my wife nudged me again, harder this time, and said, “Tell him about your idea.”
So I did. I shared Warrior’s Crown with him and my vision of building a grooming line designed for bald men. To my surprise, Adar lit up. He was genuinely excited and started giving me advice, connections, and encouragement that I desperately needed at that moment.
Later, I learned that Adar was also a former soldier in the Israeli Army and a devoted Jewish man. There I was, a retired American Soldier, sitting on a plane, listening to a book about Christianity and Judaism, while God placed another warrior right next to me, and one who understood my journey and breathed new life into my dream.
That flight wasn’t coincidence. It was a testimony. At a moment when I was ready to give up, God reminded me that this vision had purpose. That conversation gave me the clarity and strength to keep moving forward.
For me, resilience hasn’t just been about pushing through obstacles. It’s been about trusting God’s timing, leaning on my values of God, Country, and Family, and recognizing that when the path feels blocked, seek God’s guidance.

Can you talk to us about how you funded your business?
When it came time to raise the initial capital for Warrior’s Crown, I didn’t have outside investors or a big financial backer. What I did have was my faith in God and the support of my family, and I leaned on both.
I pulled together my personal assets, and the savings and resources I had built over 24 years of military service. I also had a family members that donated and believed in me. Their encouragement and willingness to invest in this vision meant the world to me. It wasn’t just about money; it was about their trust that Warrior’s Crown was worth building.
For me, that foundation of God, Country, and Family is what gave me the confidence to move forward. I didn’t just start a business with dollars, I started it with faith, sacrifice, and the unwavering support of those who stood beside me.
