Amanda, appreciate you joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.
Honestly? The biggest risk I ever took was packing up my life and moving across the country alone, betting it all on a career I’d been grinding at for 20 years. No backup plan, no support system, just me, my experience, and a whole lot of guts. I wasn’t just chasing radio, I was chasing every lane in media, building income streams, and proving I could take the reins of my own future.
It was scary as hell, but I knew staying comfortable wasn’t gonna get me anywhere new. I wanted growth, challenge, and the chance to make things happen on my terms. Fast forward, and it paid off. I leveled up in every way – new markets, new projects, voice-over, animation, content creation.. you name it.
Taking that leap proved something for me: calculated risks aren’t just scary, they’re everything. You either play it safe and stay stuck, or you go all in and make the next chapter yours. For me? That move was me saying, “Yeah, I’m willing to bet it all, and I’m just getting started.”

I’m Amanda “Paris” “Ice” Habrowski from Detroit, baby! I’ve spent 20 years in radio, connecting with audiences with authenticity, humor, and energy. Along the way, I expanded into voice-over, animation, and content creation, bringing that same personality and attitude to every project. I help clients and fans connect, laugh, and feel something memorable, whether it’s an afternoon drive time show on the radio, a campaign, or a character in an animation.
What sets me apart is my mix of experience, versatility, and creativity. I know how to evolve, entertain and engage across all platforms. I’m proud of the risks I’ve taken to grow, like moving across the country solo to chase bigger opportunities. My brand is all about energy, authenticity, and making an impact while keeping it real and fun.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media has been all about consistency, authenticity, and showing up as myself. I started by sharing my personality and expertise from my radio and voice-over work, letting people see the real me.. my humor, my interests, and my passion for media. I also made a point to engage with my audience directly, respond to comments, and give value wherever I could, whether that was tips, behind-the-scenes content, or just fun, relatable posts.
For anyone just starting out: don’t try to copy anyone else. Find your voice, stick to it, and post consistently. Show your personality, be authentic, and give people a reason to follow and interact. Social media is a marathon, not a sprint, but if you put in the work and genuinely connect with your audience, it grows.. and it grows in a way that sticks.
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
In my view, the best way society can support artists and creatives is by valuing their work like any other profession, not just as a hobby or “fun thing.” That means fair pay, opportunities to showcase talent, access to resources, and respect for creative labor. Encouraging education, mentorship, and collaboration also helps creatives thrive, while giving them space to experiment and take risks without fear of failure.
Ultimately, a thriving creative ecosystem happens when society celebrates innovation, invests in diverse voices, and recognizes that artists don’t just make art, they make culture, community, and connection, dude.
