We were lucky to catch up with Mitchel recently and have shared our conversation below.
Mitchel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
My dad was a rapper, DJ and a music producer when I was growing up he was in a rap group called “The Legion”. My dad would bring me to some of his shows and sets and I would see all the people vibe and energy light up and to see that you can make something that could brighten peoples day or get them to dance and go crazy was something that stuck with me.
When I got a little older like 17-18 I asked my parents for a music producer stuff I had no idea what I needed but my dad knew what exactly to get. He got me a laptop with Logic Pro X installed and a midi keyboard and a microphone and an interface just in case I ever wanted to get into rapping (I never did).
The first couple of beats were trash and I never wanted to show anybody. My friend came over my house very early than expected and he saw all my music equipment and was very intrigued he asked me to play him a beat and I did very anxiously he said he liked but I thought he was just being nice. He told other people about and people started to ask me to play them something and when one of them started dancing that was the moment I knew I want to be not just a music producer or musician but an artist that makes people feel good as I was also learning adobe photoshop and illustrator as well and I would make beats for people in school and asked if they would like a cover art as well as a 2 for 1 deal and I got a lot of compliments on both work

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I grew up very cultured I was into pretty much anything, music, fashion, sports, anime, cars, 3d printing, nature, culinary, skateboarding, woodworking. If I could make something with my bare hands and get people to feel something out of it I was into it.
For my 3d printing business I make whatever my mind comes up with. Since October is on the was I made a couple festive prints like a skull pumpkin candy basket and expressive ghost that you could buy at Artbymitchel.com
I also sell custom crates with special engravings, glasses holder in the shape of a skull, phone stands you could attach to your keychain, cool desktop accessories, fancy lighter and cigarette holders, inside/outside planters and exciting fidget toys
I love 3d printing because I could print whatever my mind comes to the hard is just creating it on the blender app and trying to get the size and shape right. If there is anything anyone needs printed I could happily do it for them just need a little time to illustrate it on my software and hope there won’t be any printer failures or jams but it’s usually smooth sailing.
My clients can expect fast delivery and fast service the longest part will be the print some prints take a couple hours some take a couple days as everything is made to order and the same thing goes for my beats and artwork
For music production and artwork I always ask the people or artist what type of vibe or message are they going for so that I could make or send them something that they will be happy and satisfied with
The thing that sets me apart is I feel I’m truly an all around artist. You need a beat? I got you, you need a 3d printed model? I got you, you need vocal engineering for the beat I just sent you? I got you, need a cover art and a music video? Bet and I could also direct and edit the video and I’ll sell you a bundle with all that included for a cheaper price instead of you just buying everything one at a time

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
To be able to live and survive doing what I love and what makes me happy. I’ve had a a lot of jobs and tried a lot of different trades and nothing fulfills me or makes me more happy then making a product for a customer or an artist that I created and that they enjoy and are happy with.
I also want to be able to give back to communities and my family. I would love to print a bunch of fidget toys for anxious kids, paint or print sculptures of those who recently passed for those who lost loved ones and more.
My parents helped me a lot they brought me all my equipment for everything and none of this stuff if cheap. They are the reason I am the artist I am today. If I could make a lot of money from my art I would give them a majority of it

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Be open to try new things a lot of people are stuck in their ways and aren’t open to trying new things that they have no familiarity with my family doesn’t listen to rock music so I grew up not listening but when I went out with a couple of friends I saw a lot of people with Metallica shirts on and because I was so curious to see what all the hype was about I’m now like listening to rock music and that also opened up a lot of other genres for me to listen to and try to make music with which also expanded my clientele
An A.I detector would also be nice I’m aware ai is the future and a lot of people need and want for work and school but as an artist it does sometimes get annoying when you worked on something for hours, days even and get little to no recognition but someone who made something with ai gets a lot of love and attention and all they did was write a prompt and wait for it to load
