Our treatments serve a deeper purpose—supporting clients’ scalp health through a restorative experience that blends wellness and education.

Furthermore, beauty and wellness services are typically offered separately. Vitality Head Spa LLC breaks this mold by intertwining scalp health, therapeutic massage, and mini facial treatments into a single sensory-driven experience. Our services combine deep relaxation with targeted care. What we offer is more than a treatment; it’s an experience that keeps clients coming back.

Hello! My name is Madeline Almond, and I am the Founder of Vitality Head Spa LLC. I began my journey in the beauty industry as a hairstylist and barber after graduating from The Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill, NC as a licensed cosmetologist.

After just one year behind the chair, I quickly realized that scalp care was overlooked. There was an opportunity to create a space that elevated scalp care. While the head spa concept was beginning to gain recognition in the beauty world, it was still incredibly niche. I felt called to fill that gap. I took a leap of faith, continued my education in scalp health, and invested everything I had to create something different. I stepped away from the chair and into the driver’s seat, and Vitality Head Spa was born.

At Vitality, we offer luxurious, customized head spa treatments that focus on stimulating and revitalizing the scalp. Each service includes targeted scalp massage to ease tension and promote blood flow. Think of it as a facial, but for your scalp. We also use a signature in-house proprietary scalp detox treatment that has become a client favorite. It’s carefully formulated to deeply cleanse, rebalance, and refresh the scalp. While it’s currently exclusive to our services, I plan to release it as a product in the near future.

Clients can enhance their experience with thoughtful add-ons such as mini facials, TMJ massage, upper body massage, and blowouts, with more offerings coming soon. Services range from 45 to 90 minutes and are fully tailored to each client’s individual scalp needs and concerns. All hair textures are welcome! Whether someone visits to address scalp issues or simply to relax, they leave feeling restored, cared for, and wanting more.

At the heart of it all, I have a deep passion for serving others. I see this business as a form of ministry, and I consider it a blessing to be able to care for people in a meaningful and restorative way. My life and my work are deeply rooted in faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the foundation of everything I do.

I’m also a mother, and my daughter is one of my greatest inspirations. Building something lasting not just for myself, but for her future.

I continue to pursue education and personal growth so I can always offer the best possible experience to every client who walks through my door. At Vitality Head Spa, it’s not just about beauty. It’s about restoring balance, promoting wellness, and offering a space where clients can truly unwind and feel cared for.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

One of the main ways I’ve built my online audience is by collaborating with local social media influencers. Partnering with them created a lot of word-of-mouth traction and quickly expanded awareness of my business. Since my services are very niche, these collaborations were a real game changer. It has generated such strong interest that people have even traveled hours to visit us! My advice to anyone starting out is to find creative ways to connect with the right people in your community. You don’t always need a huge following; what matters is building authentic connections that amplify your message

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was the idea that success should always be steady and increasing. In the early days, my business took off quickly, but I soon realized there would also be dry seasons and slower months. I had to unlearn the belief that those slower times meant failure. The backstory is that I used to measure my worth by comparing myself to others or by short-term revenue. Over time, I’ve learned that true success comes from staying consistent, having faith over sight, and recognizing that each of us has unique gifts to bring to the table
