From an early age, I felt a deep sensitivity and intuition that set me apart, but I never imagined how profoundly it would shape my life. When my son, Neil, passed unexpectedly, my world shattered. The grief was overwhelming, and I felt like I was sinking into quicksand with no way out.
Then something extraordinary happened: Neil’s spirit came to me. He shared insights about the afterlife that I had never known before, and in doing so, he lifted the veil between this world and the next. What had always been an intuitive sense became a clear calling — to help others understand that love continues and connection never ends.
Through my own journey, I discovered that death is not a final goodbye, but a transformation. My mission now is to guide others through their grief toward healing, peace, and renewed belief. By offering mediumship readings and spiritual guidance, I create a space where people can receive messages from their loved ones, feel supported, and experience the comfort of knowing they are never truly alone.
For me, this work isn’t just about communication with the other side — it’s about fostering hope, love, and empowerment. My passion is to help people move from grief to belief, so they can carry forward a lasting connection with those they love.

Who I Am & How I Got Here
I’m Laurel Rick, a gifted medium and spiritual guide based in the greater Seattle area. From childhood, I sensed I was different—intuitively attuned to energies and presences others couldn’t perceive. The unexpected loss of my son, Neil, transformed that sensitivity into something deeply purposeful. His visit from the other side revealed the true extent of my gift and became the catalyst for my life’s calling: to help others connect with their loved ones in spirit.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is to guide people from grief to belief. Having experienced the loss of my son, I know how isolating and overwhelming grief can feel. My goal is to create a space where people feel supported, validated, and connected to their loved ones in spirit. Beyond individual healing, my creative journey is about expanding collective awareness that death is not an ending but a transformation. I want to normalize conversations about the afterlife, connection, and intuition so people can feel less afraid, more hopeful, and more empowered in their own lives.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing transformation. To see someone come into a session weighed down with grief and leave feeling lighter, comforted, and more connected is an incredible privilege. It’s in those moments when tears turn into smiles, or when someone feels their loved one’s presence again, that I’m reminded why I do this work. Knowing that I can play a small role in helping someone heal, reclaim hope, and reconnect with love is the greatest reward I could ever ask for.
