We were lucky to catch up with Tiffany Gordon recently and have shared our conversation below.
Tiffany, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
We are in a time where the world has become socially awkward, to live behind a screen, and where building a genuine connection with another human face to face, feels rare and unworthy of time. Yet as humans, WE are built for more.
The mission inside my soul that drives me every single day, is powerful yet simple – to put a smile on someone’s face. Whether that is through picking up the phone to collect an order, sharing a heartfelt social media post, planning a wedding or making a floral dream come true. I strive to put 110% of myself into this mission, because I feel it’s what I am called to do.
As a child I spent many hours in the garden with my Grandmother and Mother, watching, helping and learning as they did all the hard work of tending to the garden. Over the years, the creativity and peace that brings me to arrange, create and design never went away. While the vast majority of my career (23+ years, who’s counting?!) is held in event planning, I always had a dream of being a small business entrepreneur and opening a flower shop. After all those years, I stepped out of my comfort zone, left the corporate world and decided it was time. And the timing was right. Of course, if I knew back then what I know now, I would have done it sooner. But it wasn’t about my time, but the path I was created to be on that brought me the relationships I was destined to form, to get me where I am today!
At Tiffany’s, I believe in bridging the emotional distance so many experience today. That the elegant beauty and quiet language of flowers can be met with a smile. To let someone know you care, you are thinking of them, and they are so loved. While the flowers may fade, it’s a gentle, powerful reminder to stop, to live in this moment, and believe there is something greater than us. Never let go of your dreams, that fiery mission that stirs up your soul. For one day, with God, grace and grit, your dream can and will bloom.

Tiffany, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
At Tiffany’s, we specialize in fresh floral arrangements, event planning, Day of Coordination and green space, designed for any space. Many floral clients and Brides come to us with an inspiration, vision or specific request. We thrive off the excitement to make floral dreams come true with any vision. To watch the creation come to life from a photo or vision and to hold it in person, is beyond any detail a photo can capture.
Each floral piece is meticulously designed with the client in mind, as if I were receiving it as my own. Every detail, petal, quality of freshness, premium stems with my client’s budget, is top of mind. Many clients rave over how long their floral arrangements last, which I believe sets us apart in the local floral industry.
Tiffany’s Floral & Co. is not just a brand; it is my life. Where my clients become family.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Before the start of Tiffany’s, I have always been blessed with great corporate roles within my local community. Every role in which I continued to grow from, learn and manage. Never taking for granted where I came from and always giving back to my community through Philanthropy. At the beginning of my young career, I joined the Licking County Chamber through my first employer, building relationships with local leaders and other businesses. Where later I had the opportunity to join the Young Leaders of Licking County as a member, then lead the Philanthropy Committee and join the YLLC Board until aging out. I continue to serve on other boards within the community, stay active in church, attend local events and give back to my church and community. All of this to say, it is very important to be a community leader from the ground up. We need leaders and mentors of all ages in efforts to keep our community and businesses healthy, strong and thriving. Never stop learning and helping where you are needed.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The majority of my incredible clients come to me from word of mouth. I can post on social media all day long, the photos, the stories, the testimonials. But my client’s word, is the most valuable, and the most important to me. Phone calls searching for the right flowers, the long hours put in to make arrangements the night before a wedding to ensure the quality of freshness, nailing a creative design request…all to hear my client say “I love it!”. That’s what is most important to me and always will be. If it matters to you, it matters to me.
