We recently connected with Krystina Steffen and have shared our conversation below.
Krystina, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you share a customer success story with us?
From creatives to those looking for more wellness and to upgrade their quality life, I have helped many people and even teams of psychologists through my business Inner Heights Meditation. A common thread is woven with students that seek out meditation, mindful movement and breathwork practices. From mind-body upgrades to releasing old programs, Inner Heights Meditation has a fav mantra, aka affirmation, which helps guide each person to their greater good – Be an athlete, your own guru and scholar.
Success is a sustainable state as students and Inner Heights members experience the liftoff when they tap into mindfulness practices. You can treat yourself like an athlete throughout the day for more rejuvenation. Schedule regular recovery intervals to restore with healthy drinks/foods and a few stretches that help you away from devices. An athlete knows the fine balance of game time, practice and recovery. Do the same in your daily life with focus time aka work sprints, breaks, and time for discovery, play and seeing where the flow takes you.
Being your own guru means learning the tools of meditation, breathwork and mindful movement to create your own DIY inner healing kit. When you check in with the breath, you get back into your body and can connect with what is best for your higher self. You get more in the present and can feel what will serve yourself and the world around you more. With meditation, you learn time-tested practices to rejuvenate your energy centers, raise your vibration, become more conscious, and transcend challenges. Combine this with mindful movement, whether that is yoga, hiking out in nature, or whatever gets you moving in a more natural way.
From an athletic mindset to the inner guru and now on to the scholar within, we must never give up the quest to continue learning. From researching topics that interest you and expand your mind, to immersing yourself in cutting-edge thought leaders and exploring other cultures and communities, hold yourself accountable for getting yourself where you want to be. What do you want to transform in your inner or outer world? What have you always wanted to learn? How can you understand your inner engineering or world around you? Through reading, inquiry, conversations, understanding diverse views, a sense of curiosity and focus, you can uncover insights, patterns and motivation for the now and your professional and personal journey ahead.
This advice has transformed many clients’ biggest challenges, whether these are opportunities or traumas, into liftoff points. From cultivating more joy and space in their lives to increased well-being, more harmonious relationships and resilience, these client success stories show how mindfulness practices can make a profound difference. It is an honor to help healers and the community with these easy-to-incorporate practices. Whether you have five minutes or 20 minutes on a regular basis, these practices can be the elements that help you soar.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
At the turning point of my corporate career, I worked for a global company where everyone put in a lot of hours, was tied to email, and produced at a high caliber. Whether I only had 5 minutes or a luxurious 20 minutes, meditation was my magical reset button and saving grace. Post meditation, I was more productive, creative, better at problem solving, excelled at scaling my teams, and focused on what truly mattered. I knew I had to learn to teach something this profound for raising consciousness and well-being in society.
After 20+ years in the corporate world, I took a sabbatical to learn directly from Deepak Chopra and becaome a certified Primordial Sound Meditation Instructor. I furthered my studies with Sadhguru for inner engineering, the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, Dr. Joe Dispenza for quantum healing, and breathwork and yoga teachers from around the world. Meditation students and groups call on me for meditation and self-care training and insights, and my experience in the creative and corporate worlds as well as my sports, DEI and international background make me this interesting blend.
From weekly classes to one-on-one private sessions or group training, Inner Heights Meditation provides meditation education services, courses, workshops, personal training, and retreats to enhance your well-being whether you are just starting or deepening a meditation practice or self-care routine. You can truly become your own guru and hero with these inner resources you can learn over just a handful of sessions to create a lifetime of rewards.
