We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Evich Norton a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Evich , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share a customer success story with us?
Collaboration took place with an artist duo called Mirrored Fatality located in California. They went on tour & wore my Brand TripShipFashion LLC across seas. It was worn all over England & Spain for 4 months!
Each piece was 1/1 Upcycled garments & scraps I found along my traveling & made Mangos shirt while I had my Solo trip driving from Az, Cali, Oregon, Washington, flew into North Carolina, got a rental & drove into Virginia, flew back into Washington & drove down into Idaho, Nevada & back into Az.
They wore those pieces so much, it was worn in a few Magazines located in UK.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’m Evich, I’m a Queer Agender Artist & this is my world of color & dark. Come take a voyage & enter my Ship, because before long you’ll find out that you’ve gone on a Trip. I’ve been creating clothes & knew my career, my passion was a Fashion Designer at 9 years old. Using just pieces of fabrics, scissors & a hot glue gun was all I needed. A handmade blue dress is my first design at 9 years old, while one design of my dreams was made, in Jan 6th, 2019 .
“Learn From Your Childhood, But Don’t Let It Rule You.”
Used all my Barbie dolls & Bratz, scalped their heads, placed them onto my face & safety pinned their clothes on my skirt. Giving that illusion that lil Evich always wanted, to be a real life Bratz/Doll Jester Creature & wear their fuckin fashion, mirt!<3
I have worked w/ clients from all over le world & everyone has had their outfit fit them. Proves I don’t even need to touch you, to be able to create a masterpiece that covers your temple & expresses a persona you’ve been trying to endure & let out; I can become your outlet in that sense, if you allow me to.
I’d love to help you feel whatever it is that YOU wanna feel.
Unisex, adjustable, one of a kind, handsewn, rave/festival, classic/modern, costume, elegant, patched/rugged/raw, etc.
I do refurbish clothes & recreate them into new items, because one of our biggest environment health concerns is FABRIC! Globally 13 million tons of fabrics are wasted a YEAR & an average of 70 POUNDS from each consumer throws clothes away a year.
Clothes release toxic gas when they decompose in landfills. As clothing joins le rest of le garbage in landfills, it breaks down & releases toxic greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide & methane into le environment.
Pretty much all of my pieces are recycled fashion, scraps, etc.
There’s nothing wrong in making something that had an old purpose become a new purpose <3
Someone somewhere is gonna treasure it, I promise.
My goal is making awareness on that & making others wanna join in on Recycling Fabric & Repurposing them.
As I am only one individual & there’s so many clothes out there.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
When my brand got Slandered by an up in coming artist named Jazmin Bean, who was my first international shipment from London, in 2018. I was 19 at this time & had my brand on a billboard in London for a week. This was monumental for me & a big step in my career.
Before I made these 3 shirts (actually 4, because they asked for lilac purple & once I made it- they actually wanted pastel pink & I had to recreate all 4 tops, in 14 days) for their new makeup launch Heavenly Urchins by CultCandy Cosmetics- we discussed that I’ll
be tagged.
That’s all I wanted was my credit as a Fashion Designer & bringing their idea into reality.
When Jan 24th, 2019 came around I was NOT tagged in our collaboration & only le Photographer & Makeup Company was.
Someone asked where they could find their fit, & discredited me by not giving them that info.
Responding with ,
“It was custom made” ~ Jazmin
I messaged them asking for my credit & got told that
“Ok but I can’t tag you in every single thing I wear the tops often & forget” ~ Jazmin
I simply explained how I don’t care about all their photos, just their two post with our collaboration please. As I created a “Devil look” & an “Angel” look, making two separate post.
March 30th, 2019 , 65 days later is when Jazmin Bean finally tagged me in our collaboration.
March 31st, is when they publicly blasted me all over their half million Instagram followers stating I had minions & they are calling Jazmin Bean a “Fraud” & Jazmin stating I never designed anything.
I called them a “Fake B!tch” & to never purchase from me because I harassed them.
Which this is NOT true, this was Slander & really jeopardized my Career because of how known they are.
If it wasn’t for RottenMorgue who saw that story post of them Slandering me & demanding they delete it- idk where I’d be.
It brought me a lot of anxiety, hyperventilating, & fear with my business.
Worst part was, their fans brought up my dead friend Spooky in my comments of my post of Jazmin Bean.
After this slander & requesting that no one supports my brand because of how bad of an individual I am. They STILL wore my brand in their “Hello Kitty” song that has over 17 million views, “Hooked On A Look Documentary” (3.4 million views) that they wore my pastel pink ruffled crop top, used photos in my brand for their Vogue Appearance ( 7.4 M), wore my PVC red crop top they SPRAY PAINTED black, & told me I have no right in mentioning Im in their first song “Worldwide Torture” (4.9 M) because they didn’t want anyone thinking I made them a new top.. when I could simply say they spray painted it.
I did privately message for correct credit , updating info, staying professional & getting my credit that was rightfully mine.
For someone who demanded credit for their “makeup” looks, it flabbergasted me & astonished me, with le audacity on not crediting their Fashion Designer.
This did not stop me at ALL. Even though their fans came at me telling me I should off myself, stop my Brand, every piece is horrible/ ugly, making fun of me, etc. I didn’t stop or give up. Never did I back down, because I was professional on my end & was crystal clear on my wants with Collaborating with Jazmin Bean.
Oh I didn’t mention, they DM’d me first on Facebook & I had know clue who they were.
My friend Taylor referenced me.
Honestly, after everything that went down with this opportunity that I thought would help my business boom- turned out so so so messy.
Brought clarity on who I’ll create Art for, what I deserve, my mental & right as a Business Owner who’s Self Made.
Seeing first hand that people who may have a social following think they’re entitled on having corrupted morals- is something I’ll never be.
I’m proud of that.
Proud that my supporters had my back & always tagged me in Jazmins post.
Knowing to this day, they are still wearing my brand & slandered my name. Makes me feel powerful & that I created magical pieces that are 1/1 & they love them.
That must be a funny taste in their mouth, & how much irony that is.
Now in 2022, I have my own opportunity into London!
Subleasing a space for two months & having my own Fashion Studio in an Art Gallery !
Never give up & listen in on those haters/ liars.
Keep doing you. Keep moving forward. Stay true & never stay silent.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Going out into le underground scene & expressing myself unapologetically- being queer, weird, loud & proud. As I danced around in up-cycled garments & repurposing them into chaotic pieces. It created interest for others who were seeking on finding that mesmerizing outlet of their Individualism.
Staying open minded, building relationships with my supporters & making them feel comfortable with whatever decision they pick.
Traveling into different areas of le unknown, staying positive & optimistic of finding my crowd- made people trust me because I gave off a free spirited creature who was passionate in their art.
