We recently connected with Abdelaziz AlOmari and have shared our conversation below.
Abdelaziz, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
One of the biggest trends we’re seeing in the PR and communications space is how startups are using media positioning not just for visibility, but as a direct lever to secure investors and clients.
A few years ago, many founders thought of PR as a “nice-to-have” — something you do after you’ve raised capital. Today, we’re watching the reverse happen: strategic media exposure is driving the capital. I recently spoke with a founder who landed coverage in a top-tier outlet through us. Within weeks, that single feature became the credibility piece they needed to close a seed round that had been stalling. The article wasn’t just press — it was proof of legitimacy in the eyes of investors.
The opportunity is huge: startups that understand the power of positioning are moving faster, raising more, and outpacing competitors who rely solely on ads or cold outreach. The concern, however, is that many still underestimate how fast markets move. If you’re not shaping your narrative early, you risk being invisible when it matters most.
At VScale, we see this trend as validation of our mission. We don’t just get clients into Forbes or Bloomberg for the sake of logos. We’re helping them engineer credibility that converts into business outcomes — whether that’s capital raised, partnerships formed, or market share gained.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m the founder of VScale, a PR agency built on one simple truth: in today’s world, perception drives opportunity. I got into this industry after seeing too many startups and founders with incredible products fail to gain traction — not because they lacked vision, but because they lacked visibility. They were doing everything right operationally, but without strong positioning, they couldn’t get investors to take a second meeting or clients to take them seriously. That’s the gap we exist to close.
At VScale, we specialize in strategic media exposure. We engineer placements in Forbes, Bloomberg, TechCrunch, and other top-tier outlets — but we don’t stop at vanity coverage. What sets us apart is that we build campaigns designed to accelerate fundraising, client acquisition, and market dominance. For us, PR isn’t about looking good — it’s about creating measurable business outcomes.
The problems we solve are critical for early-stage and scaling companies: lack of credibility, lack of investor trust, and lack of differentiation in a crowded market. We’ve helped founders secure funding rounds they’d been chasing for months, attract high-value clients in weeks, and position themselves as leaders in industries where they were once unknown.
What I’m most proud of is that we operate with a “Grow With You” philosophy. We’re not an agency that locks clients into bloated retainers. We align with their growth and only profit when we deliver results. That model forces us to innovate constantly and stay accountable in ways many agencies simply don’t.
If there’s one thing I’d want potential clients and partners to know, it’s this: we don’t just get you press — we make you impossible to ignore. In a market where attention is scarce and trust is everything, we give startups and visionaries the positioning that turns ambition into reality.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective process we’ve found to get clientele has been word of mouth. No matter how advanced marketing strategies get, nothing moves faster or more convincingly than a trusted recommendation.
As founders, we all know how much weight a single referral carries. When another entrepreneur or investor vouches for you, it shortcuts months of convincing and instantly builds trust. That’s been the backbone of our growth. The conversations happen naturally — a founder achieves a milestone, someone asks how they did it, and our name comes up.
The concern with relying on word of mouth alone is scalability — you can’t fully control the pace. But the opportunity is that the clients you do get through referrals are usually the most loyal, because they already come in with belief. From there, everything compounds.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One of the biggest lessons I had to unlearn was that clients buy the best product or service. They don’t. They buy the best positioned one.
Early on, I thought if we just delivered outstanding results, the market would naturally recognize it. But the reality is, people don’t automatically see value — it has to be framed, communicated, and positioned the right way. That’s why less capable competitors often win bigger deals: they master perception before performance.
Once I unlearned the idea that “good work speaks for itself,” everything changed. Now I understand that positioning is the product — and if you get that right, opportunities multiply.
