We were lucky to catch up with Patricia Juliano recently and have shared our conversation below.
Patricia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope my legacy will be one of community, creativity, and empowerment. I want to be remembered for building spaces where people felt welcomed, supported, and celebrated for who they are. Through my events and work, I hope I’ve given artists and small businesses the opportunity to shine, helped audiences discover new passions, and created experiences that left lasting memories.
Most of all, I want my legacy to reflect that I cared deeply — about people, about art, about connection. That I wasn’t afraid to dream big, think differently, and bring others along with me. If people can look back and say that I inspired them to create, to take chances, or to feel a little more magic in their lives, then I’ll know I’ve left the kind of mark I always hoped for.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’ve always been drawn to creativity, connection, and building spaces where people feel seen and inspired. My journey into this industry started with a love for unique artistry and community events, which grew into a passion for creating platforms where makers, performers, and small businesses can thrive. Over time, that passion developed into Buffalo Events MarketPlace, a place where artistry, imagination, and community come together.
What I really aim to do is solve the problem of visibility for local creatives while giving audiences and clients an experience they won’t forget. Many small businesses and artists struggle to be discovered, and I take pride in giving them a platform while also delivering something fresh and meaningful for the community.
What sets me apart is my dedication to blending artistry with experience. Whether it’s through hosting events, crafting unique products, or cultivating collaborations, I always focus on the details that make people feel connected. My approach is deeply personal — I care about both the creators and the people who support them.
I’m most proud of the fact that my work has grown into something bigger than myself — it’s about community, creativity, and supporting one another. Seeing small businesses gain exposure, artists find new audiences, and people leave with smiles (and maybe a little magic) is what makes everything worth it.
The main thing I’d love potential clients, followers, and fans to know is that Buffalo Events MarketPlace is about authenticity, inclusivity, and creativity. Everything I do comes from a place of passion for unique artistry, a respect for individuality, and a drive to build community connections. Whether you’re attending one of my events, purchasing a product, or partnering with me, you’re becoming part of something that celebrates creativity in all its forms.

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
I first met my partners while we were vending at local markets. Their energy, creativity, and the uniqueness of their work immediately stood out to me. As I got to know them better and learned about their passions and goals, I invited them to be part of my vision for creating these experiences. Over time, our partnership has grown into something much deeper — they’ve become more than just collaborators; they’ve truly become family.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
I don’t just host markets — I design immersive, themed events that feel special and memorable. That originality sets us apart from other markets and keeps both vendors and attendees excited for what’s next.
I have made it a mission to give smaller, independent makers a platform to shine, and not approve the makers based on their already build social media audience as other markets do. I support makers of all the unique arts, not just horror themed merchandise. I thrive off of an all inclusive arts community. I absolutely enjoy bringing people together and celebrating individuality .
