Stories are one of the most powerful ways to learn because they allow us to understand at a deeper level. One of the most important things an business owner can do is help their clients win and so we wanted to create a space where the community can learn from each other’s experiences of how they’ve helped their clients succeed.

When my client first reached out, they were frustrated. Their home had been listed for several months with only one showing. From my perspective, the challenges were clear. The photos didn’t showcase the home’s true potential, there was no real staging strategy, the pricing didn’t align with the market, and there was a lack of online exposure and open house activity. Our speciality is working with destination marketing organizations, and tourist boards, at a state and national level. In a recent campaign with Travel Oregon we devised a new itinerary, turned it into a new travel product (a self-drive tour offered by a UK tour operator), recorded an audio documentary of myself and my producer actually doing the trip, and then launched both the podcast and travel product at the same time to cross-promote. Our marketing campaign won the ESTO Mercury Destination Marketing Award for 2023: Best Broadcast Marketing Campaign, we’ve also received over 100,000 downloads to date and been recognized for two other national awards for our storytelling and production. One of my favorite client transformations comes from a group of fabulous women known as “The Board Squad.” They came to me with a shared love of charcuterie, wine, and unfiltered conversation- and a dream of turning that into a business. Basically, my dream clients. But like many entrepreneurs, they felt stuck on how to show up on camera without feeling like they were just mimicking trends. They knew video could help them grow- but what kind of video? And how? Read more>>

One of the projects I’m most proud of is the $8.5 million capital campaign I led for Neighborhood Alliance, a primary health & human services agency…but it didn’t start as a campaign. It started in 2020, when their CEO, Alicia Foss, asked me to conduct a feasibility study. After interviewing stakeholders and digging into their donor data, I told her the truth: You’re not ready yet. They were doing incredible work, but they didn’t have the internal infrastructure or donor base needed to raise millions — not yet. I recommended nine clear steps to get ready including adding to their development team, improving their technology, cultivating stronger donor relationships, and more. Read more>>

My radio show has mentored three personalities who have gone on to do their own radio programs. Each personality has brought so much success to my own radio program. And, it thrills me that they moved on to have their own shows. Read more>>
