Maria Irene, appreciate you joining us today. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
My journey has always been very organic. I’ve always been linked in a way to Events and celebrations… From when I was a child having them around my home and family, to growing up and going to school for Hotel Management, where I enjoyed hosting, and event planning & designing. I began Event Planning professionally and as a part time gig in the year 2000, for many years I was part of organizing and planning spectacular private and corporate events. But throughout the process, is when I realized Event Design and Florals where my passion.
In the year 2008 Flower Trend was born, and it’s been the most amazing and fulfilling experience. Not only did I was able to find my passion, but in all these 14 years I’ve been able to enjoy making a living, doing exactly what I like. Every day is a challenge, an accomplishment, and also a learning process. I believe, while I’m still learning, I can move forward creating and designing and innovating new and exciting designs. I see my work as Art! I just keep on making and creating and making sure in the process, I don’t loose sight of maintaining impeccable service, the best and highest level and quality in my work.
Nothing fulfills me more and makes my job the best in the world, than a happy and satisfied client!

Flower Trend is a full service Floral & Event Design company. We cater every single area. Every Day Deliveries of beautiful flower arrangements and hand tied bouquets.
Social/Private & Corporate Events
Commercial and Residential Floral Programs. Servicing any business, hotel, residence buildings, and also residential.
We get fully involved in everything related to our florals and final results of everything we are doing. So we involve all types of vendors that will work alongside to create the perfect event. Everything relates, and it should all be cohesive and organic for a better design.
Our Floral designs are one of a kind. We treat them as art pieces, so it never matters if you get a weekly for your home, or if you enjoy sending lots of flowers… We will always surprise with new, different and very creative designs. We also adapt to different styles in our designs. From the very modern looks, to the more monochromatic and artistic designs. Our experience allows us to cover them all.
